Yesterday, the Ohio Senate passed Senate Bill 130, which would establish licensing and regulations for “high volume breeders”, dog retailers, and rescues.
Here is the link we should all read and take actions on in the future, Emails, phone calls, and what ever else we can do to contact the senate will need to be some thing we BETTER start doing here forward.
The reading of the actual Bill ( A easy read, that needs to be read ).

Re: Ohio Senate passed (effecting us all)
A republican bill signed by a republican governor. Sounds like they will be putting an end to high volume breeders/puppy mills that don't jump through all the right hoops. Seems like needed legislation for the most part. Doesn't seem like much will change for a hobby breeder that has maybe one litter a year. It is also my understanding that breed bans have been abolished even though vicious dogs will still be dealt with under the law. Haven't seen that in writing yet but heard it on the news. Another good change. Sounds like they may have done some good with this. Is there something I am missing?

Looks like the law past is a way of getting more money for the wardens hired, lawyers, and in so many day more money for the sale of the dog or just putting it down ,not to minchin people calling just get the beagles out of the town ,get a litter of pups weaning of mom and the next thing you know you come home from work and all your dogs are gone ,take a day off work go to court and try and get your dogs back ,so the lawyer gets payed county gets its cut, town takes some and the court well they have there fines and court cost and don t forget the warden dog catcher all about MONEY Dam Shame wish you guys the best in Ohio
