Rabbithoundjb wrote:Good point Newt, I asked a hard core Obama supporter at work here to tell me what the difference was between aborting those kids after they had a heart beat and them being killed at that school. They all died by someone elses hands and discisions and actions they had no control of. Mind you as I say that I am not against a women who is raped, mistreated, at health risk being able to terminate a pregnancy in its early stage as long as I am not forced in any form to fund it.

My point is the same people who are outraged at guns are the same people who would exploit these kids for political gain and been all for each one of them being aborted on demand.
The difference is one is PROTECTED BY THE CONSTITUTION YOU GUYS KEEP SAYING YOU UPHOLD and the other is illegal in every society to ever exist... That's the difference. And the funding thing makes me so mad... Ok you wanna outlaw abortions or have less of them then FUND BIRTH CONTROL FOR WOMEN and give out contraceptives for free. It solves thousands of abortions every year and is more cost effective than having an unwanted pregnancy and abortion...

Yet, family values republicans don't want that too happen because, OH NO PEOPLE HAVE SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE..!! So instead they bitch about low income families having multiple babies and then bitch more they want an abortion...

5000 for a teacher you don't comprehend very well. Where did I say outlaw abortion, I said the same people exploiting these kids for there leftist agenda which by the way will NOT stop these terrible crimes from happening would have not had a second thought about aborting them. A typical answer though from a liberal, It is tooo much for me to expect people to except responsibility for their actions so I should fund their actions/behavior, i.e birth control, contraceptives, viagra, condoms, and so on. So when are you going to start paying for my dog food, vaccines, wormer and so on.

1. I comprehended it pretty we;--- You CLEARLY were using abortion as a juxtaposition to the CT shooting. Saying there was no difference in the people saying one is ok but the other is not.. Your position was that both were murder...MY response. ONE IS LEGALLY MURDER--- the other is PROTECTED BY THE CONSTITUTION.... That right there shows it isn't hypocrisy.. Its common sense.

2. And I will start paying for your dog food when its a real human being who is suffering and can't get a leg up in life. You realize people are going to make stupid choices no matter what... YA IT SUCKS I HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMEONES STUPID LIFE CHOICE. I LOATHE IT!! But paying for those things are infinitely more beneficial to society then not paying for them because of the long term costs... Suck it up and deal with it.

It is no different than the people who have no kids and whine they have to pay taxes for schools. Its because in the long run, having an educated society is better for everyone..

So... throw up more smoke screens and say I didn't understand what you meant and I'll keep responding and proving my case and let you make snide remarks about me and attack me because you have no valid argument. its getting kind of old but we can keep playing if you want.

YES, That is EXACTLY what I am saying... Its not fair to hard working people but until we can ween people off the government teet we need to support them.. If we don't we will eventually have an uprising that won't be pretty. We have more than enough resources to go around.

I am saying we need to re arrange it. Pay for the Birth control, education and welfare by saving money by closing the borders, eliminating death row by using a 2 cent bullet. Having the rich pay their fair share and then slowly kicking people off welfare who abuse the system and let them starve if they won't work.

But doing that too a kid is beyond reprehensible. We cannot allow kids to suffer because their parents are druggies and losers.

You'll let all of us know when the weening off starts right because in my lifetime the dependent have only grown which takes away from my family and not because we are not doing our part.

So tell me what part of the revenue burden should the rich have to pay and for that matter what is fair for middle class burden to be so that half of the population can do NO contributing.

For anyone wanting a thorough look at both sides of the argument this snopes article is wonderful created by people with 0 interest in it one way or another. If you can read that and still believe the conspiracy theorists then i guess I have nothing else to say about Sandy Hook
And for anyone who doesn't want to follow that link, don't. Snopes is a fraud. It's a couple of people in California - one of whom is from Canada, who have no formal background in any of this. It's was a hobby, to Google out info to debunk what others were saying. They got good at Googling, started a website, and then injected their liberal slant into it whenever they could. And people think their word is gospel, lol.

EXCELLENT IDEA BEV--- Here is the quote on their accuracy

Accuracy

Snopes has received praise from folklorist Dr. Jan Harold Brunvand, author of a number of books on urban legends and modern folklore, who considers the site so comprehensive as to obviate the necessity for launching one of his own.[11]

Snopes receives more complaints of liberal than conservative bias,[23] but insists that it applies the same debunking standards to all political urban legends. FactCheck reviewed a sample of Snopes' responses to political rumors regarding George W. Bush, Sarah Palin and Barack Obama, and found them to be free from bias in all cases. FactCheck noted that Barbara Mikkelson was a Canadian citizen (and thus unable to vote in US elections) and David Mikkelson was an independent who was once registered as a Republican. "You’d be hard-pressed to find two more apolitical people," David Mikkelson told them.[23][24]

This site has won praise from government officials, professors, PBS, and has even won awards for being so UNBIASED. Thanks for telling us to read that article so it backs up what I claim. and while they do that, can you offer proof to refute ANY of its claims from anyone without some crazy conspiracy ideas? The CT shooting conspiricay nonsense has been dealt a death blow even by fox news. Republican congressmen laughed about it when people brought up their theories about it.

Is there anyone on that list that doesn't receive a government check or that didn't vote for Obama?
Ill bet ACORN, Planned Parenthood, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and NOW will swear to its even handednesss as well.
Did you notice that the CBS political director urges Obama to 'go for the throat' of GOP to cement legacy. That is the kind of unbiased reporting we learned that we can trust.
You accuse Fox for being biased. I suppose you will quit watching CBS as well. :)

Dan Rather: Claims of liberal bias at CBS, NBC, ABC 'a sham.

Ya, fact checker is a big scam... Regardless, show me something on snopes that is biased or false. Only one thing on snopes is false oddly enough and they did it themselves as a joke. Just because it disproves your theory doesn't give you the right to unfairly criticize them for being biased when your only proof is, "one is a Canadian, and CBS likes them"

Again, lets stick to facts. Snopes is CLEARLY and unashamedly NOT biased politically. They take popular media sights and then research them like any good journalist and make an informed decision and when they cannot make a determination as to the facts or its even remotely close they can be wrong, they tell you upfront. In the CT case, they have more than preponderance of the evidence to prove their is no conspiracies being made at sandy hook. The reason more conservatives dont like the site is because their leaders can't stop putting their foot in their mouths long enough to not get called out. They also bashed obama on his fuzzy math delaing with deficit reduction and when he lied about Romenys 5 trillion tax plan.

I agree Bev, they are people and people by nature have a bias/opinion. I don't trust snopes or the media outlets they are ALL bias, some worse than others but still all bias. The same goes for all the various fact checker groups. I BELIEVE WHAT I SEE. A government passing another entitlement it can't afford and on top of that excluding themselves from it. More people dropping out of the labor force than getting jobs. Handouts expanding and exploiding, dependency running rampant. Well I could go on and on and on but only the people fooling themselves are being fooled.

Mo. beagle is a good example, I bet he doesn't do his kids class work for them and give them his grade if he does all that would teach is dependency. I don't mind helping anybody but at a point they have to take the ball themselves and I just don't see responsibility being expanded.

I am not picking on you 5000 just debating your logic. The same with the gun issue, taking guns or clips are not going to reduce violent crimes only stonger and swifter justice is going to do that and doing something just to say you tried is irresponsible and dodging doing what it would take to get real results.
