Don McVay Sr. Memorial Hunt
BIG CHANGES THIS YEAR FOR THE MEMORIAL!!!! We have listened to you the beagler and have moved the event to Sept. 5,6 & 7th. We also welcome back UKC as the sponsoring kennel club. This years Memorial will have something for everyone. In order for those to plan, I want to update everyone on the PROPOSED SCHEDULE of EVENTS for this years Memorial. AS OF NOW WE ARE PLANNING TO FOLLOW THIS SCHEDULE. If there are any changes I will post here on the board.
ALL ROUNDS 60 minutes and This is a WQE event with each 1st round winner being qualified for the 2014 World Championship. This will also be a NHBA Sectional!!!
FRIDAY SEPT 5th

CHAMPION DEADLINE Round 1B 8:00 am
We plan to finish champions Friday
Purina Seminar 6:00 pm - Karl Gunzer will be on hand to give a seminar on behalf of purina.
Parade of Champions and Grands - 7:00pm This will be an event you will not want to miss. Bring any Champion or Grand to display.
SATURDAY SEPT 6th
REGISTERED DEADLINE Round 1A 6:00am
REGISTERED DEADLINE Round 1B 8:00am
We plan on finishing Registered class Saturday
SHOW DEADLINE 5:30pm
BENCH SHOW APPROXIMATELY 6:00pm
RAFFLE 7:00pm
SUNDAY SEPT 7th
GRAND DEADLINE 6:00am *** NO ROUND B***
If Champions or Registered fail to finish due to weather or darkness these rounds go out in conjunction with the Grands. (example - semi finals of champions will go out when semi finals of grands go out)
AFTER COMPLETION OF ALL CATAGORIES WE WILL THEN TAKE THE WINNER OF THE REGISTEREDS, CHAMPIONS, GRANDS AND THE TOTAL DOG WINNER AND RUN THE 4 OFF FOR A $1,000.00 PAYOUT WINNER TAKE ALL.

We feel this allows everyone to bring multiple dogs without having to find handlers. This event is unique and again we thank NHBA, UKC and Allen Gingerich for all the help to put such an event together. Looking forward to another HUGE event as this event has always been about the beagler.
