The east Central Iowa Beagle club will be holding it's fall trial Oct 2-4th. Closing will be 7 am all three days. Breakfast and Lunch will be served every day. Tracking collars allowed and the gps address is: 1237 25th street monmouth iowa. There is also a nice campground about 5 miles away if anyone would like to check it out let me know and I'll get you the info.

Friday Oct 2nd - 13" Females

Saturday Oct 3rd-13" males & 15" males
Judges 13" males: Joe Urbain and Kevin Orr
Judges 15" males: Brad Coonan and Terry Pallin

Sunday Oct 4th-15" females
Judges: Aaron Westedt and Craig Curtis

This club have one of the best running ground for rabbit trial. They have lots of game. High ground, low ground, hills, flat ground, dry ground, and wet ground. The cover is natral rabbit habitat. The running were awesome on all the runs. The breakfast and lunch were great. For those that wanted to see good dogs, iowa is the real deal.

It's getting closer. Looking forward to seeing everyone that makes the trip and we'll see you the FIRST weekend in October.

I will be attending this trial on Friday and saturday. I could bring Fcgd Green Bay Hunt-em-up max to this trial if anybody interested in breeding. $200 cash non refundable to the club. I will be running one female and one male directly out of max, and 2 grand pups out of max. The best way to evaluate a stud is watch his off springs. Let me know by Thursday midnite before I leave town.

Thanks for the offer beagleboy, that is very generous of you!!! I also had a couple of folks asking about the weather for this weekend. The forecast is looking fantastic!!! Partly sunny everyday with highs in the mid 60's and lows in the 40's so bring along a jacket as we just might need it. Don't worry though as i'm sure the ole boys will have the wood burner rolling along in the clubhouse at about 85 like always if you do get chilly!!! As far as rabbits you don't need to worry there either. Heck even my old pot lickers have no trouble getting lots of jumps . Looking forward to seeing everyone that can make it and have a safe trip.

Does anyone have the drop pin gps location? It's in google map and once you right click on the exact location, there's a drop pin option to retrieve the exact location of the club house. I'll be needing it if anyone has it. By the way, what hotels/motels are closest to this running ground.

Yang, there is a couple of motels in maquoketa. Thats were most everyone stays. Those would be the closest probably. Otherwise Anamosa would have some as well which may be a little cheaper but probably a little further from the club.

We have a lot of game, the grounds look great, so bring a friend and enjoy some of the best running in iowa
