The people taking part in the tea parties are doing the same thing as the people who protested against the Iraq war, voicing their dissatisfaction with the direction the administration is heading. That's our right as americans (freedom of speech).

You are half right on the bible issue, you see when someone posts something I don't know about I go try and find out about it if it sounds interesting. The guy behind the conservative translation of the bible is Andy Schlafly. He is NOT trying to edit the bible, he is heading up a group that are writing a conservative translation of the bible because he believes society has a much to liberal interpetation of the bible. Is he right or wrong, is baptist right or maybe catholics are right or maybe methodists are right, It basically boils down to how the bible is interpeted. People believe what they believe period.

Now lets get back to this administrations policies.
