Same as it ever was.

Post by Chief Long Hair »

In reference to what happened in Massachusetts and quoting David Byrne of the Talking Heads song "Once In A Lifetime",

"Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was..."

I think it's the GOP's theme song as well. We are now assured that all will be "same as it ever was".

A meaningful health care reform will never pass now, just "same as it ever was" the last 16 years when the first attempt was made in earnest.

It's a known fact that most people in general have some form of kainotophobia, especially the 6 to 10 guys here. "Same as it ever was."

It's a sad day when 41 people control 59 others.
I'VE GOT SOME DOGS THAT ARE GONNA HURT SOME FEELINGS!!!!! I just hope it's not mine. Home of Wild Hare Kennels and FC Creek Woods Blue.

Tony
The 1st amendment allows the usual liberal narcissistic "I think.." which is how they start all their sentences.

The second amendment protects us from implementing "I think"
