Oh yeah! I remember. I grew up in the cotton patches in Lousiana. My standard of living improved every year of my life until Jimmy Carter became President.
Remember the Liberal's invention, the "Pain Index". A phrase coined when Nixon was President to empahsize unemployement, interest rates, and inflation. Since all three jumped to double digits during the Carter years, the liberal press quit using it.
It's apparent that you have selective memory. You never mention such things.???
When speaking of war you also forget millions of service men that were killed in wars started during democrat administratioss.
WWI- Wilson, WWII-Roosevelt, Korea-Truman, Vietnam-Kennedy/Johnson. All good Progressives.
I don't know about interest rates but unemployement is already in double digits and inflation will be there soon.
