Rufus, why can't all be treated equal? Why do some groups need special programs in our society? There has not been a citizen in our country, in the last thirty years, that had less opportunity than me, as a child. Yet I have a college degree and my wife and I have put two boys through college.
There is no excuse today to blame a lack of success on race or lack of opportuntiy.
Since "The Great Society Program" the taxpayers have been forced to pay out enough money to buy every acre of tillable land in this country. Today we are borrowing money to help the sick, lame, and lazy. The teat has about run dry.

That is a bogus argument. It has been proven over and over that conservatives give more than liberals to help the poor.
