Lolololol, I remember when Bush made those statements and a few more. His family must be so embarrassed of him. Dr. Chris, give it up. There is a few on here that is “Republican or Bust” and there is no use debating with them, but not all. Some are looking at what both have to offer. I feel we all will know more and the polls will be more accurate after the Palin newness and hype wares off and after the debates. And by the way, I am not the one who voted this idiot in and I’m sure not begging for 4 more years of failure, disgrace and embarrassment from our White House “from either party” before the whole world. I think you might want to check your own brain for “warp damage”. Wanting more of the same? Now that is warped!

Your Argument lacks credence in regards to Rep VS Dem on my part as I am a True Constitutionalist and Do not feel that Either one deserves the White house and most likely Will not vote for either one.
I just cannot see How Obama Will make it better!!!!
I like the Idea that McCain has admitted before that he is neither Republican nor Democrat as the 2 parties are very nearly the same now days but he leans more toward the reformist way of thinking that in Order for government to Work the Way it was designed it will need to return to basics.. What this country needs is LESS government not More.
I Was not FOR McCain at All until he announced Sarah Palins nomination for VP now THAT was a Wise Move.....
For those that Need to know i am a Supporter of Ron Paul and Will be using my Right to Write in My canidate of Choice as i said before I have to Vote my Conscience and I cannot and Will not vote For either one at this point Although I am leaning more toward McCain/ Palin than Obama/ Biden This administration has been bad true but What i have been trying to get accross this Whole time and some just cannot Seem to Get it...
IT AINT ALL HIS FAULT!!!!!
This Country is not Goverened by ONE man Contrary to What it seems some believe
This country has been Spiraling toward failure since the Regan Administration and UNLESS we as a people can get together I feel that it will Ultimately Crash around us.
I have not voted Along Party lines Since Regan and I Do feel Good about that..I Do not Worry about my Guns Or Who is Doin Who But WHERE our County will be 10 years from Now and Folks it just plain Does not look Good..
Unless We can start getting back to basics and use Common Sence i feel the Fall is getting Closer and Closer I Can And Will provide For my Family and Friends DESPITE what our Gov says i can and Cannot Do..Thats a Fact.
We need to Set aside ALL PARTY affiliations and look to What is best. That Will and MUST start at the local level pick the person that best Serves You at the State level your representatives if they cannot Do the Job then get them out..
PAY ATTENTION to what your Senators and Representatives are Doing FOR you not For their buddies and Whoever can best meet THEIR needs.. This is Where i feel that Gov Palin has Succeded she Does for her State What her State Wants her to Do NOT what is Politically Correct!!!
To HELL with political Correctness To hell with What OTHER Countries think or Do!! We have been bailing them out since the revolution..
We need to think about WHAT is BEST for THIS Country.
No man nor Woman Should ever be faulted For Following their heart and Conscience
I Just Do NOT think Obama has this country at heart!! Do YOU??? Honestly Do YOU????
This wil be my Final post on this Subject as Some are just To Blind to See......

"Dr Chris", the more I read your posts the more I am convinced you are a serious mental midget to swallow that BS hook line and sinker. Any thinking person on this board could, with a little time, rebut EVERY SINGLE THING you posted that the Bush Administration is supposedly guilty of...I'll just take a few.....

1. 4. Responsible for pre-9/11 intelligence failures in White House, CIA, FBI! He was warned and was told but he did nothing! Yes this was Bush, not Clinton...NO, this was CLINTON...he was contacted by the Sudan on more than one occasion and offered Osama Bin Laden on a platter...he REFUSED citing "I had no legal reason to take him". Which was another Clinton LIE as he was already wanted for numerous terrorist attacks worldwide. 3000 Americans paid for this mistake WHICH WAS CLINTON, NOT BUSH...you got to be kidding me :loser:

2. 10. Disrespected and alienated the U.S. from French, German and other key allies....uh, WHO GIVES A SH@T??? The FRENCH??? Talk about LMFAO!!!!!!!!!

3. 12. Fostered an environment of torture at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo...torture huh....underwear on the head, being paraded around naked...real funny stuff compared to what John McCain went through pal...that was REAL TORTURE. Showing what a mental midget you are with this one...

4. 16. Shunned Kyoto Treaty...THANK GOD he did...this one truly shows how small minded you are. Did you just copy and paste this from Kos??? The so called Kyoto Treaty was nothing more than a way for the US to be punished for our prosperity and allowed true polluters such as China and India (which pollute the environment exponentially more than the US does) to go unscathed with penalties...a lot like the UN being a forum for US bashing from little tin pot dirtbag countries that want equal footing with us.

5. 18. Lied about the insolvency of Social Security...I seriously doubt you know what insolvency means, but ANY ECONOMIST will tell you that Social Security is going to be bankrupt, regardless of party affiliation. Please cite ANY economist that states otherwise...

Just a few, but you get the idea...well, maybe you do, I dunno after reading your posts again... :???:

TC again I must agree with you, I have never voted a straight in my life and probably never will. I perfer to examine what I know is fact about the candidates. What I see them do, what I hear them say, what they have done, what they haven't done, who they have associated with and what policies or plans they have. McCain was not my first choice but with the choices we have he is the only one I can vote for that my vote may help win so he is my choice and I like his VP choice.

I am amazed that people are so eager to say we need someone in the white house that can understand how normal people live and when we get close to that, people start trying to tear them down for having normal problems. They should be like us but held at a higher standard. Where has the common sense gone.

Tony
You’re wrong! Clinton was informed of Bin Laden and his acts towards other countries but he had no reason or right to pursue him for acts committed outside the US, especially when the US, Russia and other of our allies have used him as a hired gun in the past. At that time Bid Laden had done nothing to cross the path of the US that was known of. However, George W. Bush had detailed information of his plans to attack the US {911} and did nothing. {He thought they were idol threats that would not be carried out, he was wrong and lives were lost.} Educate yourself and go rent {Charlie Wilson’s War} It reveals the real Washington.

On the diplomatic front, both France and the US are among the founders of the United Nations, NATO, World Trade Organization, G-8, and a host of other international bodies. The U.S. and France remain as two of only five members of the United Nations Security Council with permanent seats and veto power over all council actions. {lolol pretty important} The Marshall Plan and U.S. troop presence in Germany has left a legacy of cooperation between both nations, politically, economically, and especially militarily. Germany is our landing dock militarily for that part of the world. “Who gives a sh@t ?” I’m small minded? lolol

I never said John McCain did not go thru torture, he did and he survived. But so did hundreds of other soldiers, they just didn’t rely on their horrible experience to carry them through politics. But you missed the whole point, we have enough time and money to deploy our military to do this {Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo} but Bin Laden is a free man with nobody pursuing him, that’s the problem and that was the point.

The treaty is aimed at controlling global warming linked to carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. It was negotiated in Kyoto, Japan, in 1997. Although the United States helped shape it in the beginning in the Regan administration thru the Clinton era, President Bush pulled the United States out as soon as he took office. It included: Greenhouse gases: Controls emissions of carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons and sulphur hexafluoride. Targets: Assigns targets for reducing or limiting emissions to 35 industrialized countries. Trading: Allows emissions trading among countries: Industrial plants that do not use up allocations can sell "credits" to those who overshoot allowances. Joint implementation: Countries can develop an emissions-reduction project in another country to gain emissions credits. “The so called Kyoto Treaty was nothing more than a way for the US to be punished for our prosperity” Are you insane? Do you have a clue what you’re talking about? And here is an interesting fact; the rest of the WHOLE WIDE WORLD accepted it and complied except for the US {Bush} and Australia.

What Social Security becoming insolvent means is this, its obligations will exceed its ability to meet them by a huge amount. The Government will begin to write checks that they can’t cash. At that point three things can be done. The government can issue debt to cover the deficit—not possible. Even if it were, Europe {France, but who cares about them, lolol} will be facing a similar, but even bigger, crisis, so the increased demand for capital could result in very high interest rates. Or, more likely, US citizens will see a cut in benefits and/or an increase in taxes. The sooner such remedies are taken before 2042 (SSA) or 2052(CBO), when the program becomes insolvent, the less severe the benefit cuts and tax increases will have to be. But it has to happen and happen soon, and you don’t have to go to an “economist” to find this out, you go to the Social Security Administration’s projections, which is put out by the Congressional Budget Office. The whole point was, George W. Bush said that it was not a problem and that his administration had it under control and had a plan. HE LIED!

Lolol and no I didn’t have to copy and paste any of the info that I put on here, most of it is footnotes and material that I teach to my sophomore students, big words and all.

You know, before your “small mind” begins to attempt to degrade and insult somebody’s intelligence, you need to have a clue what you’re talking about. It’s best to remain silent rather than attempt to make a point and reveal your ignorance.

Well, THAT EXPLAINS A LOT...I thought I recognized some of that drivel you have been copying and pasting...I get all the same NEA literature that you get and the difference is I am NOT a sheep to repeat and believe it verbatim as you are. I suppose I should simply thank God (the one you try to ignore in school) that my kids are NOT being taught by YOU...

It's obviously foolish of me to go on rebutting your mindless ranting about who is at fault for what...you see what you want to see and in your bizarro world anything good, right and CONSERVATIVE is an anathema to you...you just go on supporting those that favor killing unborn babies, focus on raising taxes on the "wealthy" so they can redistribute said wealth to everyone else(funny how when the "rich" are taxed EVERYONE SUFFERS EXCEPT THE RICH), support those that favor defeat of our troops(right down to Clinton who wrote that he "loathed the military". Your support for these guys makes you feel like some intellectual superior but that too is a fantasy.

I stick by my mental midget comment, just because you may have a college degree doesn't mean that you are smart enough to discern right from wrong.

For the record, no one here that supports McCain/Palin for President/Vice President believes that the Bush Administration is perfect. Far from it and if you would read some older posts you would find out that we have been VERY critical of things done the last 8 years...however we are NOT so narrow minded as to think that the LIBERAL way of running government is an acceptable alternative to Conservative methods...we tend to look at the big picture and recognize that returning to the Jimmy Carter way of handling things (economy, world affairs, energy policies LMFAO) is NOT the answer. McCain is far from perfect, but not near as far away as Obama.

BTW "Dr Chris", what are you doing on a beagle board anyway???? :???:

You are absolutely right, I do apologize if I offended anybody on this board with any of my comments. There has been many good points made concerning all sides, and it does need to be kept clean. Like many people, I kind of feel “out of pocket” because I really don’t feel comfortable with either choice we have been given to vote for. It baffles me that a strong third party is not running to give people an alternative. And Tony, I am on this board because I own, hunt and run the best beagles in the country! :P

Good Lord, here we go again! And you were doing so good until that last part. Lolol you’re not too far from me, how about we get together and run and we will keep score on our dogs. My dogs get the best of yours, you have to ware a Sarah Palin {I support the barracuda} tee-shirt with her face on it and teach a full day of school with it on. If your dogs get the best of mine, I will ware the same except of course mine will be an Obama shirt, even though I will get beat-up with baseball bats at work, I’ll still do it. Deal?

I'm sorry hear...........maybe I'm wrong but wasn't the first attack on the trade center(bomb in a van, in the basement) the responsibility of Bin Laden? And I also believe that was on Clinton's watch. USS Cole? I'm pretty sure that Clinton had enough just cause to get Bin Laden back than.Sean
