Is he intentionally distorting the truth or is he just genuinely clueless?

Jefferson wrote that the Tripoli ambassador told him that “it was written in their Koran that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman [Muslim] who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to Paradise.” That’s why Jefferson and Adams had Korans.

Answer: Because he knows that America has become a nation of sheep awaiting the slaughter. They are too busy playing video games and watching idiots do the "dab" to read history books.

Its not like its the first time he went to a mosque, won't be the last. Muslims go to mosques, that is what they do. He has done his best to ruin this country. If he could get his wish of disarming us, we would be in real trouble. He is a great divider, and has done his best to go against our allies. Many countries have no fear or respect because of his actions. Sad times we live in. I do often wonder if he believes in any religion, at all. He may just worship in what ever church, that he feels he may benefit from. Could be he is planning on going back to his home country and run for president there. Over there being muslin would be to his advantage.
