So we have the technology to put a man on the moon and land a craft on Mars but can't build a safe pipeline. What is more dangerous to the environment, shipping mega tankers across the Atlantic or running a pipe line across the country?
We have had pipelines across this country for a hundred years and no Aquifers, to my knowledge, have been polluted. I'm sure we have better welding techniques and metals are stronger and more corrosive resistant than the ones installed a century ago.
