PM and other dysfunctional progressives talking about how wonderful socialism....er I mean socialist programs is/are.

Former NHS director dies after operation is cancelled four times at her own hospital

A former NHS director died after waiting for nine months for an operation - at her own hospital.

Margaret Hutchon, a former mayor, had been waiting since last June for a follow-up stomach operation at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex.

But her appointments to go under the knife were cancelled four times and she barely regained consciousness after finally having surgery.

Her devastated husband, Jim, is now demanding answers from Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust - the organisation where his wife had served as a non-executive member of the board of directors.

He said: 'I don't really know why she died. I did not get a reason from the hospital. We all want to know for closure. She got weaker and weaker as she waited and operations were put off.'

Mr Hutchon, of Great Baddow, Essex, said his wife, 72, had initially undergone major stomach surgery last June but the follow up procedures were repeatedly abandoned.

The former mayor remained at the hospital for months but her family feared she was becoming institutionalised and decided to bring her home until an operation was a certainty.

Dang Newt, this was news 5 yr ago, what did the Corner determine? have they an answer by now. I found after 4 months of hospital living that not all doctors are created equal, if something does not seem right being an advocate for those without a voice is your best course of action. One hospital in Louisville dispenses Fentanyl drug to it's patents by the baggie. The machine is set up to 300mg, set it and forget it type. You can be kept alive in a vegetable state for years fried brain and all. I read now where druggies are dying from Fentanyl as it is such a potent drug 50-100X more so than heroine or morphine. My father need pain management while his 15 broken ribs healed but their selected method only gave him pneumonia and sutamonius. They were going to kill him but I had seen at Indy what was possible and needed, so got those doctors involved also and we started getting the right results.

Your selected title place over the sad event certainly has a morbid tone. Maybe a self mental health evaluation is in order?

That's funny Charles...Rufus ROUTINELY pastes articles this old or older and I couldn't find ONE SINGLE instance where you even made notice that it was old news.

Not once...
The 1st amendment allows the usual liberal narcissistic "I think.." which is how they start all their sentences.

The second amendment protects us from implementing "I think"

In 2010, the Office of Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services said that bad hospital care contributed to the deaths of 180,000 patients in Medicare alone in a given year.

Now comes a study in the current issue of the Journal of Patient Safety that says the numbers may be much higher — between 210,000 and 440,000 patients each year who go to the hospital for care suffer some type of preventable harm that contributes to their death.

That would make medical errors the third-leading cause of death in America, behind heart disease, which is the first, and cancer, which is second.

In Reality,,,this goes along with the,,Value of Life study done many years ago, seems that Older People ,Cripple People or People who could not go to College or Children born with Birth Defects ,Minorities and some others ,are to be discarded according to Republicans,,You Know Republicans are ,the super Race.

The few people killed by ,,ISIS and other Terrorist groups as Horrable as they are,,,,(( ,unlike the Republicans, I Belive all Lives Matter,,,,)) do not compare to the total deaths in America , that really could be prevented ,,in America ,BUT,BIG BUSINESS AND THE REPUBLICAN POLITICIANS DONT MAKE MONEY UNLESS ITS WARS OR TERRORIST DEATHS ,BETTER PROPAGANDA TO USE TO CONTROL AMERICAN CITIZENS.

Sorry I didn't see the date. Didn't know there was a stature of limitations on pointing out Bureaucrats dying from their own initiatives.
I suppose its more comforting to progressives when innocent folks working two jobs have to pay for those initiatives.
I didn't see your outrage when Obama vowed to use Executive power, that he doesn't have. to add millions of illegals to Social Security. I'm totally shocked.

Is this within your stature of limitations.

Border Patrol told to release illegals "still dripping wet from the river."Posted on 4/11/16 at 10:31 am

quote:
Border Patrol agents have been ordered to release dripping-wet illegal immigrants at the Rio Grande unless they actually see them climbing out of the river, creating what amounts to “an open border with Mexico,” the chief of the agents’ labor union told Congress in new testimony last week.

quote:
Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told the House Judiciary Committee that agents were given the orders verbally soon after President Obama laid out plans for limiting immigration enforcement in 2014.

quote:
“We have apprehended illegal aliens just north of the border who are still soaking wet from crossing the river. If they claim, as increasingly they are doing, that they have been here since January 1, 2014, we will process and then release them,” Mr. Judd said in written testimony following up on questions from a hearing earlier this year.

quote:
“They are still wet from the river and miles from any civilization and on their word alone we release them unless we physically saw them cross the river,” he said. “This policy de facto creates an open border with Mexico for any illegal alien who wants to claim that they were here before 2014.” The Jan. 1, 2014, date is not set in law, but rather is part of President Obama’s enforcement priorities he laid out in November of that year, designed to carve most illegal immigrants out of any fear of deportation.

You would be better served by compairing them with Republican abortion rates,Abortion always goes up under Republicans.

Compare that with liberal abortion deaths clown and lets see how that stacks up.

REALLY',,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Abortion rate peaked in 1981 under former President Reagan (though he had just taken office), and --------------------->>is at the lowest rate IN 2011, under President Obama. The abortion rate had been falling until it “stalled” between 2005 and 2008, under former President Bush. ABORTION STARTED BACK UP UNDER REPUBLICAN ,,,,,,,,,BUSH/CHENEY.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DECLINES >>>>>>>>DECLINES>>>>>>>>>>>>>DECLINES========DEMOCRATS

According to a new study by Guttmacher, the abortion rate fell by 13% under Obama. Declines were the steepest in the Midwest and West, and “less steep yet noteworthy” in the South and Northeast.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DECLINES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DECLINES>>>>>>>>>>>>DECLINES========DEMOCRATS

The U.S. abortion rate declined to 16.9 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15-44 in 2011, well below the peak of 29.3 per 1,000 and the lowest since 1973 (16.3 per 1,000), according to “Abortion Incidence and Service Availability in the United States, 2011,” by Rachel Jones and Jenna Jerman. Between 2008 and 2011, the abortion rate fell 13%, UNDER A DEMOCRAT resuming the long-term downward trend that had STARTED BACK UP between 2005 and 2008. The number of abortions (1.1 million in 2011) also declined by 13% in this time period.

Before conservatives can get all “Yea, restricting freedom is working!”, the study also suggests that this decline is not due to state level restrictions. “While the study did not specifically investigate reasons for the decline, the authors note that the study period (2008-2011) predates the major surge in state-level abortion restrictions that started during the 2011 legislative session, and that many provisions did not go into effect until late 2011 or even later.”

The drop was also not attributed to the loss of providers.

Furthermore, Republicans didn’t really get going on their war on women until 2010, when they began a full on assault courtesy of ALEC in many cases. Guttmacher notes that states enacted “205 abortion restrictions between 2011 and 2013, more than in the entire previous decade combined.” Looking at these statistics, one might ask why Republicans have been focusing on a non-problem that was getting better every year while ignoring the glaring lack of jobs due to the Bush recession.

What caused the drop in the abortion rate? As always, the number one factor that reduces the abortion rate is birth control,,,,,CUTTING FUNDING FOR PLANNED PARENT HOOD,,,, and that was a factor here, as well as the recession causing more people to plan to delay or avoid pregnancy.

I don't have alot of time to express outrage. I think you're a fine fellow and notice the mass amount of postings you put on. It's only natural that I wonder if your a paid poster like some I've heard admit or if all this political mess has you shaken. Your post caught my eye cause it was about a town in England I'd been through and also too do with hospitals I've been dealing with for the last 10 months.
I found your title and article subject matter very sad and it struck me as what state of mind one would be in to collaborate the two together in such a manner.
Sorry i was worried over nothing.
I agree, it looks like obama is working to break SS for the republican party.
Christ said, Give up all your worldly possessions and follow me. To love everyone, even those that hate you. I don't know why He wanted to make everything so hard but it seems we grow to be better people for all our trials and suffering. It's true, our greatest battle is with our own nature.

I guess I once had such a great love and respect for this country and love my grandchildren so much that I hate to see it die.
Its even sadder when I see folks like me ridiculed and folks like Hillary, Bill, Obama, and even Bush held in such high esteem.

Maybe Christ was talking about Washinton DC., maybe Bill and Hillary, maybe Obama.

Patch, in regards to my posts. I post articles that support my beliefs. If you have some success stories for Progressives, post them please. Its sad when PM is the only Progressive with the "mind set" to represent his beliefs.

Health Care was Crown Jewel of Obama's legacy
AARP was big supporter of Obama Care

UnitedHealth Makes Good on Threat to Pull Out of Obamacare
By Eric Pianin
April 10, 2016

The Affordable Care Act suffered another jolt late last week with the news that UnitedHealth Group, the nation’s largest health insurer, was making good on its threat to pull out of Obamacare, beginning with its operations in Georgia and Arkansas.

UnitedHealth roiled the market last November when it revealed that it was considering exiting Obamacare after incurring hundreds of millions of dollars in losses related to ACA business. Then UnitedHealth CEO Stephen Hemsley confessed to investors meeting in New York in December that the company should have stayed out of the program a little longer to better gauge its profitability potential.

The company had cautiously tiptoed into the market in January 2015 after sitting out the first full year of Obamacare operations in 2014. “It was for us a bad decision,” Hemsley admitted to his investors. “In retrospect, we should have stayed out longer.”
........

United Health and Aetna both reported losses last year after the companies badly underestimated the cost of providing health care insurance to many individuals who turned out to be older and sicker than they had anticipated. UnitedHealth generally enrolled consumers with better health than the overall exchange population, according to Hemsley, but it still lost money.

UnitedHealth declined to speculate on Friday whether it would discontinue its Obamacare operations in other states, although it seems likely that more closures will follow. United Health is among dozens of insurers that sell coverage to millions of Americans in marketplaces established by the states or the federal government that provide federal subsidies to low-income people.

If SS is stopped, there will be an outrage like never before.

On the positive side of that is all one would have to do is get wet near the border and claim all the benefits of an alien, or, stay in your town and get:
Welfare check or credit card, free medical, claim several children and it can easily be over $3,000 or more a month cash plus the free benefits like housing, school lunches, groceries, etc.

In the long run, closing down SS would cost our government more.

SO BASICALLY,,,WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR ARGUEMENT YOU JUST DENY AND ATTACK SOMEONES MORALS,,

The facts are simple you BLAME DEMOCRATS FOR ABORTION when the FACTS SAY DIFFERENT ITS YOU REPUBLICANS WHO RUN UP ABORTION RATES.

Republicans only know three things.
Abortion ----->And America knows Republicans are just as Responsible for abortions as anyone ,and ,according to the facts even more than anyone else.

Guns----->Which has become A non Issue, since President Obama has done nothing but help Gun Owners.

Terrorism-----> Another lost issue for Republicans,,,since ,,President Obama has taken more Terrorist off the battle field and killed more Terrorist Leaders including (( Bin Laden )),,than every Republican Combined.

Now Republicans has nothing to Talk about,,so ,,,now,,the Republican Politicians,,Just Talk about each other ,,their wives,,and how much the other one Hates America,,and spend the rest of their time trying to figure out How to ,,,,PICK A CANDIDATE YOU MUST VOTE FOR AND YOU HAVE NO SAY IN THE MATTER,,,BUT,,You could ,,just vote for ,,America ,,instead of against America ,,,for once do the right thing.

If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered

ISIS puts out hit on Huma

ISIS on Wednesday put out a hit list targeting moderate Muslims — including top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

The list — in the latest edition of the terror group’s magazine Dabiq– targets several other prominent Muslims including US Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota and British pols Sayeeda Warsi and Sajid Javid.

Abedin, the wife of former rep. Anthony Weiner, and other targets are branded “overt crusaders” and “politically active apostates,” who “involve themselves in the politics and enforcing laws of the kufr [disbelievers].”

Clinton spokesman Glen Caplin told The Post he had no comment about ISIS’ hit list."

http://nypost.com/2016/04/13/isis-puts-hit-out-on-huma/

What/who to believe? I saw the President just this morning, telling us that ISIL was on the run. Their leaders were being picked off one by one. Surely he would not lie to the American People.
Maybe Huma and Ellison should show us some confidence both in the President and the Religion of Peace by taking a vacation in the middle east.
