Plague of Society, This Day is for YOu

Go on. Let it out.

You there screaming into your pillow every night for the last year.

You there yelling at the TV while watching White House press briefings.

You there wanting to shout at people wearing red MAGA hats.

On Nov. 8, you and your fellow Americans who didn’t vote for Donald Trump are invited to let out your frustration and “scream helplessly at the sky.”

Thousands of people have joined a grassroots effort to mark the one-year anniversary of Trump’s election with a giant primal scream.

Call it Scream Fest 2017.

The first event was reportedly planned for Boston, where nearly 5,000 people have signed up for a communal scream on the Boston Common. An additional 33,000 are interested.

Now the events are spreading across the country, including one at the Trump Tower in Chicago that’s off to a slow start. (Screaming into a pile of cheese fries counts, too, says the Facebook invite.)

“Join us cucks and snowflakes, safe spacers and libtards, as we enjoy a collective cathartic yell into the heavens about our current political establishment,” reads the invite for the event in New York, where more than 2,000 people so far have signed up for the Washington Square Park scream.

In Philadelphia, 550 people have signed up on the event’s Facebook page, while 3,000 more have expressed interest in the after-work event planned for a city park.

The events so far seem to be centered mostly on the East Coast, with no discussion apparent yet about having one in Kansas City.

“This administration has attacked everything about what it means to be American. Who wouldn’t feel helpless every day?” Johanna Schulman, one of the Boston event organizers, told Newsweek.

“Coming together reminds us that we are not alone, that we are part of an enormous community of activists who are motivated and angry, whose actions can make a difference.”

Yoko Ono can attest to the cathartic nature of a good scream. Just days after Trump’s election, her primal scream on Twitter was retweeted thousands of times.

“Dear Friends, I would like to share this message with you as my response to @realDonaldTrump,” she tweeted, along with a video of her dying-animal screech.

Man why didn't all of us who did vote for Trump or maybe who didn't vote for Obama do this. Oh I know, we have a brain and a job and an understanding that things aren't always going to go the way we wish.

The president also attempted to minimize evidence of a split within his party by insisting a Tuesday lunch with Republican senators “outside of Flake & Corker, was a love fest with standing ovations and great ideas for USA!”

Trump was locked in an increasingly personal back-and-forth with Corker for much of Tuesday morning after Corker said during a TV interview that the White House should let Congress take the lead on tax reform.

The president fired back by saying Corker, who has twice been elected to the U.S. Senate, “couldn’t get elected dog catcher in Tennessee.” Corker announced last month that he would not seek reelection in 2018, but unlike the embattled Flake, it was not clear whether the Tennessee Republican would have faced a serious primary challenge.

Hey man! did anyone attend the "Love Fest" ? We are feeling the Love and the swamp is boiling, the shrimp are floating to the top and being eaten. The Spice is being added and the Crab Boil is the next to be served. Some think they are safe but the heat is only going UP... Enjoy

From Forbes;
HFC could have completely stopped this from happening had it opposed the fiscal 2018 budget resolution when it was considered by the House this morning. That budget resolution will increase the deficit by $1.5 trillion or more and didn't include the spending cuts HFC said was the price for its support when the House adopted its budget earlier this month.

But instead of deficit purity, the House Freedom Caucus didn't oppose the budget resolution, as it has so many other deficit- and debt-increasing bills. It instead went along with legislation that will enable one of the biggest deficit and debt increases ever proposed to be considered under procedures that will make it much easier to enact.

Not only did the HFC's refuse as a group to oppose the budget, many of it's about 50 supposedly uber fiscally conservative members voted for the resolution, which barely passed 216-212. In other words, the House Freedom Caucus could have easily stopped this massive increase in the deficit and from occurring but instead was a very willing conspirator in its passing .

HFC Chairman Rep. Mark Meadows (R-SC) made the group appear even more hypocritical when he indicated last week that he and his colleagues were supporting the big deficit increase to get a vote in the House before Thanksgiving because House Republicans needed a legislative victory. In other words, HFC's support for the tax cut had little or nothing to do with improving the economy that, up to now, it so steadfastly has insisted was the group's primary reason for living.

It is very simple: The House Freedom Caucus was bought off.

I have only 2 questions. What data do you have to support it will increase the deficit and what data do you have showing it will not help the economy. I mean democrats proven record of forecasting is soooooooo reliable.
