What Changed?

Post by Newt »

Too bad Mary Jo Kopechne can't call a press conference, Or Marilyn.

Bobby Kennedy: Last person to see Marilyn Monroe alive.

Ted Kennedy: "Lion of the Senate"

He was never called on to resign

he was never censured

he never lost votes

he never lost reelection.

He was given multiple prime time speaking slots at democratic conventions since the murder.

He colluded with the Soviet Union to sway the presidential election for him. (He sent his representative to the Kremlin to conspire against President Reagan during the Cold War. Isn't there a recently discovered law against colluding with foreign governments to sway an election. Oh it only applies to conservatives. Progressives are not accountable to our laws.

Some lefty columnist wrote a piece about her earlier this year. It went something like this...

"If Mary Joe could speak to us today she would say that all the wonderful things that Senator Kennedy did for America outweigh the tragedy of my death."

I wanted to vomit.

Charles Pierce of The Boston Globe in 2003. This is the exact quote:

“If she had lived, Mary Jo Kopechne would be 62 years old. Through his tireless work as a legislator, Edward Kennedy would have brought comfort to her in her old age.”
