AG Bill Barr says he'd take fight to restart federal executions to Supreme Court if needed

Attorney General William Barr revealed Thursday he'd be willing to take the administration's fight to restart federal executions to the Supreme Court if necessary.

Barr's comments to The Associated Press came after U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan ruled Thursday to postpone four of five scheduled executions for next month; the fifth already had been halted. The Trump administration appealed the decision.

The government has put to death only three defendants since restoring the federal death penalty in 1988, most recently in 2003, when Louis Jones was executed for the 1995 kidnapping, rape and murder of a young soldier.

ATTORNEY GENERAL BARR ACCUSES THE LEFT OF SYSTEMIC 'SABOTAGE' OF TRUMP ADMINISTRATION

If the government were to win the appeal, the executions could begin as soon as Dec. 9. Barr argued that the inmates in question were just five of 62 currently on death row.

Meanwhile:

At 8:15pm last evening Washington Post journalist Devlin Barrett posted a supportive article for the CNN (Manu Raju) news exclusive that outlined an “FBI Official” who was under criminal investigation as an outcome of the inspector general review of FISA.

The original WaPo article by Devlin Barrett noted the FBI official was actually a “line-level” lawyer who worked “under FBI Agent Peter Strzok.”

However, that said, the edit(s) help to identify the identity of the FBI lawyer. The updated article removed the references to Peter Strzok, and identifies the line-level lawyer thus:

[…] The person under scrutiny is a low-level FBI lawyer who has since been forced out of the agency, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss material that has not yet been made public.

The employee was forced out of the FBI after the incident was discovered, two U.S. officials said. Horowitz found that the employee erroneously indicated he had documentation to back up a claim he had made in discussions with the Justice Department about the factual basis for the application. He then altered an email to back up that erroneous claim, they said. (link)

quote:
If you have followed the case closely, the intentional removal of Peter Strzok in combination with the explanation of the lawyer’s FISA responsibilities; and in combination with prior reporting of FBI lawyer 2; it seems pretty obvious the line-level lawyer was Kevin Clinesmith.

Wonder what the penalty is for such acts.

During her testimony in the impeachment hearings this week, Fiona Hill dismissed charges she was a “globalist” by referring to the term as an “anti-Semitic” conspiracy theory, despite the fact that she writes for a publication literally called ‘The Globalist’.

Hill was responding to a question by Democratic Representative for Illinois Raja Krishnamoorthi, who quoted Hill’s earlier deposition in which she complained about Roger Stone labeling her “the globalist leftist [George] Soros insider.”

Hill claimed that “a conspiracy” had been launched against her and that ‘globalist’ was an anti-Semitic trope, while admitting that she was a “leftist maybe,” but implying she was not a globalist.

“This is the longest-running anti-Semitic trope that we have in history, and a trope against Mr Soros was also created for political purposes, and this is the new Protocols of The Elders of Zion,” Hill said.

null

This statement is somewhat at odds with Hill literally being a contributing writer for a publication called ‘The Globalist’.

Stone also previously asserted that Hill was was serving as George Soros’ “mole” under the supervision of former NSA adviser H.R. McMaster.

Hill is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, which is considered to be one of the pre-eminent globalist institutions in the United States.

Breaking: "WB" caught lying sought to change document on Oct 8thPosted on 11/23/19 at 2:34 pm

On October 8th Ciaramella approached the intelligence community to correct his statement after news broke on October 2nd that he approached his close friends in Adam Schiff’s office before he turned their whistlblower report. Ciaramella lied about meeting with the Schiff team before he turned in his complaint.

That would be obstruction and evidence tampering.

A photo of CIA whistleleaker Eric Ciaramella shaking Barack Obama’s hand in the Oval Office was published on a close friend’s wedding site last year.

The photo was obtained by the Washington Examiner and it again suggests Eric Ciaramella is a political hack with a partisan Trump-hating agenda.
Eric Ciaramella is a 33-year-old CIA officer who was planted inside the White House by ex-CIA chief John Brennan to spy on Trump and thwart the Spygate investigation being conducted by US Attorney from Connecticut John Durham.

Ciaramella was NOT on Trump’s July 25 phone call with Zelensky, yet he filed a whistleblower complaint based on hearsay from a ‘source.’

Vindman publicly testified Tuesday and crumbled under questioning from ranking member of the House Intel Committee Devin Nunes (R-CA) when asked about who he spoke to about Trump’s call with Zelensky.

Eric Ciaramella is not a whistleblower. He is a CIA leaker and a far left political hack with an agenda to remove Trump from office.
