I spent 9 months in the gulf, and i made and lost some of the best friends i ever had in that short time. It makes you realize pretty quickly just how life is taken for granted when you’re safe here at home. I look at things from a different perspective, and will never forget those who where there with me. The song puts things into a perspective and just brings back some of those lost feelings.

I should have added that the song was written by a soldier in Iraq. Hope everyone enjoyed it and appreciate what our boys are doing.
