Look what Greenspan had to say about McCain.

John McCain, more of the same.
Guys, your childrens' children will be paying for Bush's mistakes, no doubt about it. Do you want their childrens' children paying for more of it? The above link to what Greenspan says is solid proof. We need change and McCain ain't it.
I use to be a Republican since I could vote in 1972 until this Bush came around and stole the election in 2000. I often wonder, and wouldn't be surprised, if the same thing occured in Ohio in 2004. It has been said many times that his administration is the MOST secretive of all. Gee, I wonder why. Do you know the difference between Richard Nixon and this George Bush. Nixon got caught, Bush hasn't............yet.
Is Congress at fault and do they deserve an approval rating of 18%? It's not congress' fault as much as Bush's. The Democrats have tried to make changes but this congress can't do what they wanted to due to the threat of a Bush veto. It take 2/3's to override one and they can't come close to getting enough votes. Talk about having your hands tied behind your back!!! Maybe Congress does deserve a rating of 18% but shouldn't it be applied to the Republican side of the aisle for fighting change?
Don't blame the Democrats. Don't blame Republicans. Blame us for not getting the right guys in the first place.
I say vote your paycheck, lobby your interest. It needs to be that way. Is Obama against guns? I don't care. Get me my paycheck and I'll gladly fight him for my guns if I have to. I really don't think that will be necessary though. We have way too many gun slingers in this nation for that to happen. Besides, didn't the Supreme court just rule that we do have the right to bare arms? Hell yes they did!!! It ain't gona happen!
Get over it and vote for true change, Vote Obama!
My name is Jeff Leonard and I approve this message.

Jeff....is that you? LOL. I guess this will work out pretty good. Once Obama's elected, my increased taxes will drive me right on into poverty, where you're paycheck will be taxed to death pay for my new welfare goodies. You won't have anything left over to fight for your guns, but hey... What's say we vote McCain, and you just give me all your money now? That way you will at least still have your guns, lol.
I hope we're still friends.

Thats a BS excuse. IF they had you know what they wouldnt be worried about something getting vetoed, theyd just do it so they could put the blame on the Republicans.
Vote for whoever you think would make the better President which in my case is McCain.
I cant imagine nObama as President and it amazes me that so many Americans think that he can do the job when besides take up space in the Senate for a few months, all he's ever really done is run a campaign.
Its about more than guns or at least it is with me.
I dont agree with his position on abortion, taxes, or anything else that I can think of offhand.

During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi , Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Neither I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they were in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap to say the least. Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans… Maybe. After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York.
By "chance" he met Antoin "Tony" Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association". About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans? After Law school, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented "Rezar" which is Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race. In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Judge freezes $105,000 from Rezko, says hefty forfeiture possible for jailed Ill. fundraiser
CHICAGO (AP) -- A federal judge on Wednesday froze more than $100,000 belonging to Antoin "Tony" Rezko, saying the money may be needed if she orders the prominent political fundraiser to forfeit a big chunk of his assets as punishment for masterminding political corruption.
Rezko, a major fundraiser for Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich and Sen. Barack Obama, was convicted in June of mail fraud, wire fraud, aiding and abetting bribery, and attempted extortion. Neither Blagojevich nor Obama are accused of wrongdoing in the case.
Prosecutors said Rezko used clout with Blagojevich's administration to launch a $7 million fraud scheme designed to squeeze kickbacks out of a contractor and money management firms seeking to do business with a state pension fund. The governor was not charged with wrongdoing.
Rezko and his allies never pocketed anything resembling $7 million as a result of the scheme, partly because FBI agents intervened. But St. Eve said Wednesday that the government proved the scheme resulted in at least $250,000 in proceeds, the amount prosecutors want Rezko to forfeit.
Before trial, Rezko posted $380,207 in cash as part of his bond. But much of the $8 million bond was secured by dozens of separate pieces of real estate posted by family and friends.
St. Eve said $275,000 was sent to the Chicago law firm that represented him, Stetler & Duffy Ltd. Defense attorneys Joseph Duffy and William Ziegelmueller did not return a call Wednesday seeking comment.
St. Eve said the clerk of the court would keep the remaining $105,207 and not dispense it to Rezko or members of his family.
Now it took less than This to impeach Nixon and start a federal investigation against Clinton!!!!After it had been reported in 2006 that Rezko was under federal investigation for influence-peddling, Obama purchased a 10 foot (3.0 m) wide strip of Ms. Rezko's property for $104,500, $60,000 above the assessed value.[32][7] According to Chicago Sun-Times columnist, Mark Brown, "Rezko definitely did Obama a favor by selling him the 10-foot strip of land, making his own parcel less attractive for development."[36] Obama acknowledges that the exchange may have created the appearance of impropriety, and stated "I consider this a mistake on my part and I regret it."[34]
And Yall are gonna VOTE for this Guy????
I have read his PLAN for Change And looked at his record the THINGS he has Done for all of Us the time he has been in office Was a SHORT read for sure!!!

Re: Look what Greenspan had to say about McCain.
Bev, I didn't know you made over $250,000 a year!!! I'm real sorry that your gonna get a tax increase, (2%), because you make so much money!!! Obama clearly said he will only increase taxes on people making that much. On the other hand, most of us here and I mean at least 95% of us, will get our taxes reduced at least $500 per worker and $1000 per working family.
Here's something off of his website on taxes:
http://www.barackobama.com/taxes/
I don't know where Bev gets it that all our taxes will go sky high.
To make things fair, here's McCain's view on taxes:
http://www.johnmccain.com/Issues/Jobsfo ... /taxes.htm
Guys, these links come off of their respected websites. This clearly shows Obama is THE MAN if you like families first. McCain's views on taxes is nothing but good news for business'. To hell with us.
TC, does this answer your question if I did my research? I think you, Bev, Rneil, and all you other McCain BELIEVERS need to do a more credible research if you ask me. How can you speak your opinion without doing research such as GOING TO BOTH WEBSITES AT LEAST. OH!!! I know!!! It's done all the time on this board, that how you can do it!!! My bad and how stupid of me.
John McCain, more of the same. After 8 year of this bad $$$$, I'm voting for change and McCain ain't it.
I think you guys might want to be hiding your guns. The poles are showing Obama in the lead by at least 8 percentage points!!! His lead is gonna get bigger too after what Palin said over the weekend about Obama rubb'n shoulders with "a known terrorist". Most people are calling it a blatent lie. She's acting like an animal backed into a corner.......willing to do anything if it's staring at a sure death!!!
OH!!! I can't wait to see what "TROOPERGATE" brings for her and McCain on October 10, (If you don't know what it is just google "troopergate", you might be amazed at what ya see).
I also need to mention another point. Most of you that know me know that I'm a "UNION" electrician and darn proud of it!!! Wanaa see what Obama says there?
http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/#labor
Yes that's a big reason why I'm voting for him. I not stupid. It means more money in my pocket so I can fight for my guns IF NEED BE!!!
One more note, the more people that register to vote usually means more votes for democrats and those numbers are rising rapidly!!! Maybe you better not hide your guns. Maybe one of you ought to put a cap in his a$$!!! No wait!!! Then you got Biden!!! Just can't win, can ya?
Just do'in the stir'n thing,

Hey Hippie Chief, stop drinking the kool-aid, really dude, its gonna warp your brain!!!!
Show me ONE lousy Democrat President since Kennedy that has NOT raised taxes...
But, if you are that dense to believe that 95% of Americans will get a tax cut, when only about 55% of Americans even pay any taxes at all, you will believe ANYTHING. How are those that DON'T pay taxes going to get a tax cut??
Try and follow this logic to see how EVERYONE suffers when taxes get raised...
Obama raises the top tax margin to oh, lets say 54%...business owners get hit with this tax.
Business owners arent going to pay this tax, they are going to pass it to SOMEONE...guess who gets shafted?? First its the EMPLOYEES that get cut. The business owner cannot afford any longer to employ as many due to rising taxes.
Next comes the CUSTOMERS that get shafted...he has to raise his price, because remember he ISN'T going to pay this tax, everyone else will. Now prices go higher to pay for this increase in taxes on the business owner.
Business owner notices a drop in sales, why??? Due to the price increase, customers are buying less. Simple economics Long Hair, look it up.
Now you have a business with fewer employees, higher prices and a sour mood over everyone. But wait, there's more pain to come.
Now you have a COMMUNITY with fewer employed residents...they are spending less due to having less, they MAY need public assistance, they may even MOVE out of that community in search of better opportunities...now the COMMUNITY is suffering from a reduced tax base, has to cut services such as police, fire, rescue, trash removal, etc...this means MORE unemployed residents and compounds things. So to keep up, the LOCAL COMMUNITY has to raise fees such as parking tickets, trash removal, general services....even to the point of raising LOCAL taxes to help pay for what isn't in the budget anymore.
Now, if you aren't wise to it yet, try and imagine multiplying this exponentially throughout the entire USA...it has a cascading effect that usually takes years to full rear its ugly head...thats why Clinton got away with his tax increases because the effects took YEARS to be seen, but they were there.
To those that can and WILL remember the good ole Carter administration, please remember the MISERY INDEX...we WILL see it again.

That's like saying you're gonna go to the store and get some first aid creme so you'll be prepared when you come home and put your hand on the hot stove burner, lol! Just don't vote for the incompetent, lying muslim and you won't have to fight for your guns. Don't put your hand on a hot stove to begin with. I can't believe you really think Obama is going to improve your quality of life in any way.Yes that's a big reason why I'm voting for him. I not stupid. It means more money in my pocket so I can fight for my guns IF NEED BE!!!
"...labor leaders and their allies hold out hope that an Obama-led legislative drive would revive not only unions, but the entire Left in this country. Nothing illustrates the giddiness of these folks more than an unintentionally hilarious pro-union piece in the Chronicle of Philanthropy entitled How the Employee Free Choice Act Would Help Colleges, which observes that “the labor movement is still the most effective political force for electing liberal candidates” and that pro-labor politicians would also support “the environment; the civil rights of women, homosexuals, and minority groups…universal health insurance…affordable housing…and funds for public schools and higher education.” Never has so much been riding on one simple bill.
I can certainly understand why critics object to the federal check card legislation. If this bill passes, I sympathize with workers who don’t want their companies unionized, because they will come under unprecedented pressure once they are deprived of the right to a secret ballot. Indeed, one study of companies that willingly agreed not to oppose union organizing efforts found that more than half of all labor campaigns failed anyway. (Imagine having no opposition and still batting less than .500). However, the study also found that when labor negotiated not only neutrality, but also to have the process determined by signature cards rather than a secret vote, nearly 80 percent of campaigns were successful. Deprived of a secret vote, in other words, some workers went along with the union when they apparently wouldn’t otherwise.
But beyond the injustice to workers and the headache it will certainly cause a few management teams, Obama’s support of card check and other union friendly legislation will mostly accomplish one thing: ensuring that he gets the maximum campaign effort out of organized labor, which has pledged some $100 million to see him elected.
On the other hand, a more union-friendly attitude in Washington will have little impact on the historical trends undercutting organized labor in this country, because in most American workplaces these days, unionization isn’t even an issue. A union movement which grew in response to the industrial revolution and succeeded because laborers were fighting for basic rights is simply no longer relevant to the vast majority of today’s workers. And the huge chunk of their members’ dues that labor leaders now spend supporting Left-wing causes, ranging from environmentalism to subsidized housing to anti-war efforts, has made labor’s message less palatable even to employees in industries still prone to unionization.
Faced with a flood of pro-union sentiment from Washington, most workers will simply yawn and say, that’s change we can do without."

By the way, Obama wants to spend 1.2 trillion dollars in the next 4 years -- much of that for special interest groups. Any idea where he's gonna get that kind of money?
Would it also be fair to say that you make at least twice what I do, and I manage to run my albeit modest household? I'd love to have more money in my pocket, too, but money isn't everything, and some things just aren't worth risking.
