DIVORCE AGREEMENT


THIS IS SO INCREDIBLY WELL PUT I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT'S BY A YOUNG PERSON!!!

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists, Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950's, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce.



I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but, sadly, this relationship has run its course.



Our two ideological sides of America cannot, and will not, ever agree on what is right; so let's just end it on friendly terms.



We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up this country by landmass, each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement.



After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

We don't like redistributive taxes, so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war; we'll take our firearms, cops, NRA and military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell (You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them).

We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies,Wal- Mart and Wall Street.. You can have your beloved homeboys, hippies and illegal aliens.



We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.



You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies, or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N., but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Volkswagen you can find.

We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem". I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like To Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World."

We'll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot. Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

I have not posted on this political topic for awhile but after reading that divorce agreement I believe that I need to. I am about as middle of the road that you can be when it comes between the party lines, I believe in some conservative views and I also believe in some liberal views. It bothers me to hear individuals say they want our great county to be divided into two sections and let the two parties govern each its own way. This country was formed by individuals that did agree on every issue but they worked their differences out and came to a middle of the road agreement. Here in Ky our flag says UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL, and now we have people actually saying lets split up.
It is time for both parties to get their heads out of their AZZ and start putting people in charge that will do what needs to be done for the citizens of THIS GREAT COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its time for the checks and balances to start working again in congress and the senate.those people jump to do whats best for themself and the party,they make or break a president.its time to make one term limits for congress and the senate,get rid of the professional politician. time to get rid of that darn electorial college also.

The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is a capitalist republic that is being changed by the new administration into the "United Social States of use to be America".

No one is better than me, No one is lessor or worse than me, even you Dufus, but if I have something and you don't, doesn't mean it should be taken away from me (money, material, property, etc..). I , and every "legal AMERICAN" have the right to life,liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If you are in America illegally you do not have the same right/ "entitlement" as a "legal AMERICAN" point blank. If someone choose's to obtain those rights, then go through the proper channels to become a legal citizen and pay your share of the taxes to keep this country going.

Marxism, communism, Social progressive's, tree huggers and illegals are not true Americans. True Americans stand up for what they believe in, stick together and fight for thier rights to be free. Freedom is taken away when a citizen is forced into government health care, forced into a Cap & Trade tax that will cripple their business, forced into a tax payment of uncontrolled/unpatrolled government spending spree.

You guys are funny. You all are so hung up on the parties and bashing each other and not on what is best for the american public. This is how I look at it; take out the party names and look at it from the common mans standpoint.

Is our government trying to help the citizens of this country with providing health insurance for all? YES
Is our government trying to keep us out of a depression with several different plans? YES
Is our government keeping the spending in check? NO
Is our government looking at different tatics when it comes to world relations? YES
Is our government backing down from foreign threats? NO

The only thing that I have heard about is how this country is turning into a socialist nation and the truth is we have been a somewhat socialist nation for a long time, and here are a few examples:

Social Security
Medicaid
Medicare
Social Servises
Food Stamps
Government Housing

Whenever you pay taxes and that money is being spent on someone else for services that you dont recieve; that is a socialist plan, now when you pay taxes and that money is being spent on services you get; then that is just good government.
