I disagree because the minority NO matter which party it is should have a procedure to insure their involvement in any dicisions made.

Now as far as the acticle goes Bunning was right. I'M not against extending unemployment benefits as long as you can pay for it. I am disappointed more republicans didn't stand with him, just shows a lot of them are irresponsible with the taxpayers money as well.

You know Rabbithoundjd, I thought we just disagree on politics. I'm beginning to think you must desire to be totally different from me. Let's try something. I say: "The sky is blue". "The earth is round, not flat". "OJ Simpson got off with murder". OK, you might not agree with me on the last one. I hope you do remember your statement when the Pubs get the Senate back and the Dems start filibustering. And then don't come crying here!!!!!

What Bunning, one lone Senator, did was hold everybody hostage, many from his own Pub party including his "Pub" partner from the same State. It was over a bill that covered extending unemployment benefits for only the month of March. That was so everybody in Congress still had time to work out where the money was coming from FOR THE LONGER TERM!!!!! 2000 road workers lost their job on the very first day on this hijacking. Do you support someone losing their job????? There were also provisions to help some States cover their expenses as well in that bill. I bet Ky was on that list. It was nothing but another attempt by the Pubs to control the majority, at any cost.

Like they have a clear plan to pay for the rest of their spending, I prefer to a plan in advance. Never a guarentee it will work out the way you thought but still a plan. BUNNING DID THE RIGHT THING AND PEOPLE (LIKE YOU) ARE LOOKING FOR SOME KIND OF ALTERIOR MOTIVE RATHER HE JUST DID THE RIGHT THING. THAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLINDLY FOLLOWING A PARTY AND FOLLOWING A SET OF PRICIPLES. You get to a point you can't seperate right and wrong rather who is saying it.

Nobody wants to see anyone loose there job, maybe you should call your president and seeif you can convince him to get serious about unemployment instead of another 15 billion of pet projects and pork waste that was rushed through so he could get back to healthcare.

So PMB it is safe to assume that you charge money to a credit with no plan or idea where the money is coming from to make the payments. I prefer a little better planning than that.

Your way of thinking matches Obama's, and Bushes which has us 12 trillion plus in debt with NO end in sight.
