Koran Burning
A lot has been made lately regarding the proposed Koran burning by the guy down in Florida...Of course I have an opinion but my concern is more in regards to the RESPONSE rather than the actual proposed protest. If that guy, or ANYONE wants to burn the Koran its allowed in this country due to our Constitution. My confusion for lack of a better term, is all the "Christians" who are coming out expressing SOLIDARITY with their Muslim "brothers and sisters"??? Are you kidding me? Followers of Christ should have NO solidarity with Islam. To equate Islam with Christianity and put it on equal footing is to blaspheme Christianity. Contrary to what seems to be popular belief, Islam and Christianity do NOT worship the same God. The God of Christianity says to accept Christ as Saviour to get to heaven, Islam forces its followers to Kill to get there. We do NOT worship the same God. You can scream intolerance all you want to, but faith dictates that you follow the ENTIRE Word of God, not just the parts you cherry pick out. What say you.......???
The 1st amendment allows the usual liberal narcissistic "I think.." which is how they start all their sentences.
The second amendment protects us from implementing "I think"

Re: Koran Burning
What Christians do you see doing this?? Are you talking about the Christians who oppose the burning of the Koran??? I've seen GREAT things from the Christians. Giving an example of how God wants us to be. I've seen Christians speaking up in huge numbers to call a stop to this event (which was stopped). Christians demonstrated how the "Moderate Muslims" should scream out loud, condemning acts that put a false light on their beliefs. In less than 2 weeks the Christians were able to put a complete and permanent stop to the high jacking of their religion. "Moderate Muslims" now have no excuse for not to react the same way to the Mosque at ground zero. The actions of this Preacher and the Imam building the Mosque are constitutional and legal, neither are acts that should be done!!!bluegrass wrote:My confusion for lack of a better term, is all the "Christians" who are coming out expressing SOLIDARITY with their Muslim "brothers and sisters"???

I think that what this preacher proposed to do brought great light to what America really believes. Conformise, conformise, conformise. If a person thinks they can win the devil over by conformise then you are wrong.
