Reynolds: Want a lawless police force? Federalize it.


"In the wake of the Baltimore riots, Al Sharpton is calling for the federal takeover of local police. Like most ideas from the loathsome Rev. Sharpton, this is a lousy one. But since federalizing local police is actually an Obama administration idea, it's worth paying a bit more attention.

The idea behind federal supervision of local police forces is that it will make them more accountable. Instead of a bunch of presumptively racist, violent hicks running things on a local level, we'll see the cool professionalism of the national government in charge.

There are (at least) two problems with this approach. The first is that federal law enforcement, especially in recent years, hasn't exactly been a haven of cool professionalism. The second is that no law enforcement agency is very good at policing itself, meaning that a national police force is likely to be less accountable, not more. And there's a third problem, too, but we'll get to that in a minute."

Hmm, nationalized police force, media run by the government, a concentrated effort to limit speech under the guise of "equality" and "fairness," a demonization of the religious, and an effort to take away gun owners rights

Don't be fooled, this is the gateway to Marshall Law but to start off with a more acceptable, unknown consequences different name. Later on, when and if its approved will the title Marshall Law appear and explained to the average citizens horror.

Under Marshall Law, the president cannot be removed to O'Bama will remain in office until its removed by congress which takes a long time of debating, before finally voting it down. By then the damage to all of us will be done and repairing it will be costly and hard on everyone.

This is a well documented trick pulled on Native Americans many times and is taught in their history lessons so it cannot happen again.

John you talk about native Americans and understand what the goverment did to these folks. Just use reservation and ghetto in the same sentence to get the same out come.
