Michigan dilemma

Everyone can use a little humor. Good-natured jokes and stories can brighten a day and go well with that first cup of coffee. (Let's keep'em clean)

Michigan dilemma

Saturday night, on our way home from the Buckeyes 42-39 win over
the Wolverines in Columbus, traffic came to a dead halt on Woody Hayes
Drive and I thought to myself, "Wow, this traffic seems much worse than
usual."

I noticed a police officer walking between the lines of stopped cars,
so I rolled down the window of the Mustang, and asked, "Officer, what
seems to be the hold up?"

The officer replied,"Michigan head coach, Lloyd Carr is so depressed
that he stopped the team bus and is threatening to douse himself in
gasoline and set himself on fire. He is tired of losing to Ohio State
three darn times in a row and 5 out of the last 6 years. He says that
Michigan has cut back on his recruiting budget making it difficult for him to
sign quality players." so, we're taking up a collection for him."

I asked the officer, "How much have you got so far?" The police officer replied, "About 175 gallons, but a lot of folks are still siphoning."
