Not a Joke but funny

We have a teacher(and I use the term loosely) at the local high school that is stuck some where in the 60's,you know the type always wanting to protest about something ,tree hugger,pro gun control, save us from our own ignorant bliss,but mostly wanting every body to notice him,which ain't hard in a town of 600 people.Enough about or local educated Idiot,but here is the funny part,a couple of years ago we got a new teacher / ROTC Instuctor.On orientation day for all the teachers and faculty everybody had to introduce themselves tell what their job was and a little about themselves.Well everything was sailing along smoothly until the aforementioned Village Idiot with the diploma stood up.His intoduction was MY name is Blah blah blah ,I teach Art and Humanites and I'm a card carrying member of the ACLU ,while trying to stare down the new ROTC Instructor, a few more actual teachers introduced themselves and it became the new guys turn, and He stood up gave his name and said I teach history and am the new ROTC Instructor,turned and looked the" I think I'm somebody special teacher" square in the eye and said I'm a card carrying member of The NRA.Our local treehugger about passed out and everyone else had a good laugh.This is a true story.If any of you live in a small town without a Village Idiot we have one for sale in Inez,Ky ....Cheap ,Denny
