First of it's Kind LPH Trial in Canada

Post by Boomerx »

Oshawa Beagle club is holding a special 75th Anniversary Trial Saturday, Dec. 8th. It's the first ever of this type, to be held in Canada, with all 4 classes run on one day, each in their own separate 100 acre enclosed running grounds. All classes will have fresh game on fresh grounds. We're located near Lindsay Ontario and only 3 hours from the Thousand Islands Bridge to USA (and about the same from the Niagara Falls, Buffalo crossing) Chris and Pauline Pawson have ordered special trophies for this event. I understand that the prizes are hunting horns engraved with a commemorative logo for Oshawa (Canada's oldest Beagle Club), and the date, class etc. The trial "should" be on snow, as we've got several inches of the white stuff now, but "who knows"? It makes for a nice, short weekend for everyone, with lots of time to travel. We hope you'll visit us here, as we've certainly got the facilities to have great running in all classes. It's a CKC approved trial with lic. points. All AKC and CKC reg. hounds welcome.
