FCGD Chesters Topfuel Torque (Chester & Direct Barry)

Post by Bull_357 » Wed May 18, 2016 10:56 am

FCGD Chesters Topfuel Torque finished for his field champ title at Towanda Beagle club on May 15th 2016 wining a class of 31. He went into this trial only needing a ¼ of a point and he sure went out in style. Torque is a 14 ½ in open marked bluetick. Don’t let the open mark color fool you though he comes from a very heavy bluetick breeding, and he has thrown very blue dogs in his first litter. Torque’s pedigree is the best of his Sire’s pedigree with the awesome sought after direct Bluebarry dam’s bottom side. Torque runs with power, yet control with explosiveness out of the check zone. He also has a great nose that he has used to win and place in trials from snow trials to 97 degrees summer run off trials. He also uses his nose and mouth perfectly in combo never barking before the rabbit is actually up and moving. He has absolutely awesome hunt for a big male, and is a fantastic jump dog. There is no forcing this male to hunt that is for sure. He finished with 6 wins under 11 different judges. His wins came in three different federations and one association. This goes to show you how well rounded this hound really is. He placed in several different states and also placed in a few all age and derby trials that I put him in when he had no licensed trials coming up. He placed in his first licensed trial when he was exactly one year old and he never looked back. Torque’s running ability may have been his best asset to most people, but his unbelievable handling and calm nature is what I really loved about this hound. Also he is about as conformed of a hound as you could ever ask for. This is what I feel sets him apart from other big males. He is one of the best handling big males I have ever seen run or have had the pleasure of hunting over. He also has lived in the house all of his life and is one of the best mannered dogs you could ever ask for. He has one litter of pups on the ground currently that are about 17 months old. The pups are doing absolutely fantastic and show many of his same traits. I can arrange for photos or running with these pups if you would like. Please come and watch Torque solo or bring your best and run against him.

Torque is now for Stud in Upper Burrell, PA (About 40 minutes East of Pittsburgh, PA.) Please contact Frank Litavish via text or call @ 814-244-7115.

Negative brucellosis test must be provided before breeding. Price of breeding will be $200 or by private treaty for certain female pedigrees.

Thanks John!

I will be making this cross as soon as my female comes into heat. If anyone is interested she should be in heat in June or July. I have 4 spoken for as of now, but I will take a few more names if someone wants on the list. The female has been running awesome. She is undefeated so far in her derby year and leading the consistency in both the NEBGF & PBGF. The champ trials for both are coming up within the next month so I'll post how she makes out at those after the trials.

Still taking a few names for males out of this cross. As of now I have a bunch of females booked and only two males.

Thanks

Torque was the NBQ hound out of 30 big males (14 FC's) at the NEBGF Championship Run off this weekend. It was an extremely hot, but nice trial. Congrats to all that placed. It was a major accomplishment for me to place a hound of this style at this event. I believe it goes to show how well he can run in any style and conditions.

Still waiting on my female to come into heat guys, sorry I don't know what's up with her. She should have been in the end of June but no luck so far. Hopefully she isn't a once a year wonder.

Torque has been running great despite the ridiculous heat and dry conditions we are expierencing. Looking forward to the IBGA Championship trial this fall. Not sure if I will make it to the mid west run off or not it's a heck of a ride for me.

heck of a pedigree thats a fine hound from what i hear. Pedigree second to none should reproduce without a doubt as well. On my list for sure if i can get a female to him or his dad.

Btt....female still never came into heat unfortunately it looks like she'll be a pain like some of them are.
Even tried laying her up and it didn't help. I will let everyone know that's reserved when she comes in. If you are no longer interested no big deal since it has been a long wait. I'll let anyone know if more females are available if anyone left out.
