Andy's Stud Fee is still reduced Until April 1st 2012, After that Stud Fee: $300
Since Deer season ended here,Andy has been hunted hard, Gun dog 1st. He has produced some nice pups so far that start easy.
During Christmas Break I've have taken alot of kids out gunning, its been a blast. Here is a pic of my son Joey (R) his friend Alex (L) Andy & daughter Hunts Creek SnowTime Lady ( out of Hunts Creek Jazz) this was Alex's 1st hunt.
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z233 ... 011003.jpg
I hunted Andy and 2 of his daughters thier 1st time on snow last week they ran very well with tons of hunt. His pups have excellent kennel manners.
Larry Manley started 2 -5mos old pups over the last week he cut them loose and they hunt no beating the brush, this seems to be the norm, with Andy pups put them around rabbit and they start easy, Thats Brains, Hunt & Desire! You can't add that later it has to be bred in.

Andy is Gun Hunted hard not left in the kennel.

Yes he does run on snow, but this year is not a test for snowhounds. Last year 48 States had snow worse winter in years and He was gunned and his pups, where some of the few that were being gunned under 1yr old on snow.
This winter -12 below 0 was the colest day and he ran head high and was taking turns fast pace action only checks are where the rabbit turns. Last year was a test, this year is more training days.
To many hounds and guys stand there calling any break down a CHECK LOL If the hound breaks down on a stright away its garbage.
Andy is Going on 8yrs old, runs like he's 3yrs, can handle day after day gunning. If he could'nt he would be gone.
Every Stud advertised produces Good & Bad, Some breed many more bitches and still can't reproduce.
Look at percentage and what a stud has to offer. If your looking for Hunt he is throwing hunt, Iam seeing speed but with control & nose good use of mouth.
If hounds are standing at your feet (no hunt) & have"checks" (break downs cause by them)
To me a check is where a rabbit turns, not race and break down than the hound that picks the blowup is "picking the check". Not many gunners want hounds that drop rabbit after rabbit.
Stud Fee: after April 1st $300.

Andy is throwing pups that start early with alot of HUNT! The last litter off Andy X Penny 3 pups started already 3 1/2 mos -4mos old.

I Just leared that he Produced the Top Winning Derby in Canada(Newfoundland ) this was out of his 1st litter, before coming state side. Some with Lic places.
I know the pups I bred showed us a great rabbit season, Hunted hard, all day. Ice one day, old powder, than frozen ground, Hare or cottontail even with rabbit numbers down. Nice group of young hounds complete package, Hunt, Desire, Brains & Nose with plenty of Foot. We Hunted them from -26 below to the mild back to cold, they held there own.
ANDY was gunned hard and stays the same, no excuses.

We have Nothing for sale! No Pups or running hounds. We are only making repeat, proven crosses late Summer or Fall 2012.
I don't breed for a format I breed for Gundogs, to please me under the gun. I hate excuses and lost rabbits caused by the hounds.

Andys Stud FEE will be $300 Starting April 1st.

Hey Andy. I was telling you a while ago bout the Striker X OtterBrook, I sold that male. Hopefully I can get a double bred otterbrook female, if she is a nice bitch I would like to see a cross with Red River Runner.

Andys last litter 5 pups 4 started by 4mos old, this has been the norm early starting pups. Brains,Hard Hunt Desire, If pups show this as early as 4mos old, it makes it alot easier to work with them. If they have no hunt or intrest you can't put that there, it had to be bred into them!
He is reproducing what I wanted to see, Any male could be a sire but few are reproducers.

Andy has Crossed well on Trades bred Bitches.

All our pups are started now at 5 mos old, Desire + hunt + nose = pups Starting easy
If a pup has no desire they won't hunt, If they stand at your feet and won't hunt & can't smell, than they wont start.
