I had a message from a woman on my answering machine when I got home from work yesterday - she wanted to know if I was the same <name> that had shown a Beagle at the August show in Topeka.

Turns out, this person also lives here in Topeka, has a little male dog (2 weeks younger than Shasta) that she is showing. She also has someone else that sometimes shows him when she can't and grooms him for the show ring. She does show here in the midwest, out of state too. She is interested in possibly sharing travel time/expenses. Oh, and she has been involved with Beagles for over 30 years - that's about all I know at this point.

Can you PM me her name? I sure hope it works out but you need to be careful hooking up sometimes...some dog people (people in general) are just plain NUTZO. Met too many of them at shows. I'd take it slow
