Total: 17 - 5-7-(2-3)- 0
As far as AKC show entires.
I got the total thing. I am assuming one is bitch the other is dog.
Could not find what I was looking for on the AKC website.

You are semi right, lol. The total of dogs competeting is 17. The first number after that are the number of class dogs, then class bitches. The numbers in the parinthises are the number of specials dogs, then the number of specials bitches. The last number after those includes the number of veteran entries. All-breed shows usually do not have this number (as they do not carry the class) but in some instances they do.
The step to do after that is, and the fun part, would be to count the number of each class dog and bitch (in participation on show day) and see how many points you might get!

5 class dogs (males) class animals still needing points towards Champion
7 class bitches
2 dog specials (champions entered in BOV)
3 Bitch specials (same as above)
0 veterans.
