Im selling a 20 month old tri color male that will absolutely push a cottontail i've never had him on hare so i dont know what he will do up there foot speed is pretty good on a scale 1-10 i'd give him an 8 great nose will open a little before the rabbit jumps he has good hunt and handles exceptionally well When he was a pup he ran one deer and i used tri-tronics to fix that other than that one time he has an honest mouth he will run solo or in a pac doesnt matter to him This dog is not registered on paper but is still a great hound He is great in the kennel dont bark or nothing hes just an all around good dog I had him out this evening and he ran 2 and holed them both by himself me and my buddies killed over 80 rabbits with him this season so if your looking for a gun dog here he is after the rabbit is dead he wont eat it but sometimes will bring it to ya i wouldnt sell this dog but im having to work alot right now and hes not getting the running time he deserves im located in Webster Springs Wv. I've hunted over this dog for the last 4 months and everything that he says is true. This dog is strong in the check, but also has the ability to run front and hold it. If your looking for a fast hound to push your pack, THIS IS THE DOG!! He is a little shy to start but will handle great anyway. Fairly tight mouthed, when he does open he's usually telling rabbit, on good scent days he will open 30 seconds or so before the rabbit is up. I've ran well over 100 chases with him and never seen him open and not produce a rabbitt. This dog would be a great addition to your pack.

ive had alot of calls about this hound but he is still for sale i measured him good yesterday and he is 15 1/2 inches

my buddy took him out today and he jumped one and holed it and sight chased and about caught it then it holed in some rocks...........thanks
