Reffetts or Lynn Perkins

Post by Walnut Shade Beagles »

I'm looking for something out of Dexters kennel, or something that he collaberated on with Mr. Perkins (Buzz Saw). I had a couple years ago that are since dead and have tried different hounds but NOTHING compares to the hunt and stamina and just plain old rabbit hunting machines that I had. My last one was out of Rip and a Buzz Saw grand daughter, he was a nice hound. Tried to sell him a couple times, but just couldn't do it. He wasn't perfect but he gave you a solid hunt day in and day out!

I haven't talked to Lynn or Dexter for years. Lynn got out of beagles some time back. Probably around 2007. I don't think that Dexter is beagling anymore either. Buzz saw was the total package looks, hunt, and brains. Honestly it would be hard to find anything probably with Buzzsaw and any of Dexters bitches that wasn't watered down with a lot of other blood. If there was then it would peak my interest as well as long as it was solid Northway with Buzz. Good luck and if you find anything let me know. 502-321-9797.
If you don't breed for hunt sell you're beagles and buy a POODLE AND SOME PERFUME! GUN DOG'S that's all that matters. The rest will fall in place.

Elliot Peters use to have a lot of dogs from Perkins and Reffetts. I haven't talked to him in a couple years and I know he got married, give him a call at 330-204-6588.

I have talked to Elliott, at this point I was looking for young dogs just out of starting pen. I'll finish season up with what I have and work on this over the off season. I do have a couple people to call. Thanks for replies!
