I am getting -0- running time and have decided to let 3 hounds go to good homes. Cannot ship. Pick up here. 1 is not started, 8 mo. old. The other 2 are good rabbit hounds, will jump, run and circle their own rabbit but are not perfect. All are PP-LP type hounds and have had rabbits killed over them.

#1-Ramey's Run & Gun Blue Daisy-sire: IFC Stonyhills Gator dam:Burton's Sniffles. Daisy is 13-1/2-14", bluetick and is a VERY hard hunting hound. If left in the kennel for long periods, will pop off a yelp every now and then the first time out. Shy around strangers, but jumps all over me and the kids, will need to be acclimated with new owner, price $150 obo. AKC reg. up to date, will be 3 in June, very fertile, only litter from her was 9, all healthy.

#2-Ramey's Soldier of Fortune-14", a looker. BWT, sire Reffett's Ky Mtn Rock (out of Rockstar), dam Reffett's Ky Mtn Lady Belle (out of Branko's Rabble Rouser, deceased). Soldier is also a VERY hard hunting hound but is also VERY tight mouthed in a pack. Extremely well-behaved, handles excellent. Turned 2 Feb. 5, AKC reg.

#3-male pup DOB 6-25-2006. BWT, 14" or better, has been handled and socialized. Taken out with grown hounds during gun season 5-6 times and that's all. Handles well, excellent manners, outgoing and friendly. Sire Perkins Run & Gun Buzzsaw, dam Ramey's Run & Gun Blue Daisy (out of IFC Stonyhills Gator). Not the choicest pup in thel itter, but healthy as a horse and ready to start. $100 obo. AKC puppy papers.

I will accept a reasonable offer on all 3 but keep the dog trading out of it. I want these hounds to go to good homes, pref. with young'uns who hunt or are getting started. If you know anyone who has a good clean place to heep these dogs and will care for them and is new to beagling gundogs or wants to get started, I will make them a very special deal.

Scottie, these will be fine gundogs if worked during the offseason. My problem is that I will be going to summer classes and won't be able to keep them in game when they need it most. If you have a place to run them with young rabbits, they will get all the practice they need to keep them in good condition. Danny mentioned the foot on the female and he's right, but she's a good check dog. The only thing they lack is running time. I have worked them with the limited time I have, killed rabbits over them but I don't shoot much, preferring the race. THey handle well, but if the male doesn't find game he will hunt wide.

The Buzzsaw male pup and the 2-year old male are both still available, holding the female for a reply for a day or two.
