Gay hounds?

Post by Hatfield »

What makes those hounds gay? Can you breed for that trait? why do you think it is important? I would think it would be hard to get a reproducer  J/k

I love a good video, Thanks, Robert Hatfield

What hounds are actually running the rabbit and what hounds are just running?? Do any of them ever get solo time? Kurt Robinson

klrconcrete, I'm with you on that. I watched the video several times and counted 11 or 12 dogs and didn't see a single one stay on the line more than 20 or 30 feet. Solo them or run them in smaller packs. IMHO.

I guess that's what makes video such a useful tool. You can review it and watch each hound and see what they need work on.

You guys can have it, look at that video and count how many actually hold a line and listen to how many are barking every breath- if you started picking up dogs out of that pack for being sloppy the race would be over immediately.

tired rabbit

Post by Big Head »

If the rest of that 40 min. run was like the clip I can see why bugs was so tired.. Not a lot of time for the rabbit to play tricks... Was this some of your pups on this run? Pups or grown they seemed to be putting it on him pretty good..
