AN ORIGINAL CHRISTMAS POEM
'Twas the night at the warehouse
On the day called Christmas Eve.
All the presents are out
And I feel some relief.
From the corner of my eye
There arose quite a sight!
Just at the time
I was turning off the lights.
I walked to the office and what did I see?
Letters, cards, and pictures...
All addressed to Me!!
As I read each one and laid them aside,
A tear filled my eye
As my chest swelled with pride,
Because there in front of me laid the best gift of all,
Stories and pics and thank-you's from all of ya'll!
As I turned out the light
All I can say
I'm so glad for this job to serve YOU each day!
