I just purchased two new ones at the world hunt. Would still be interested in a 219 though. Thanks anyway, Dave

Here is a little electronics for you.
The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength and the more power it takes to cover the same area. Why do you think that public radio uses the low end of the frequency dial of your radio? They can cover a larger broadcast area with less output from the transmitter.
I don't want to sit down and get the cobwebs out of my brain and figure the difference between a 217 collar and a 219 collar. I would assume that they would cover the same amount of distance, therefore the 219 collar would need more power to do it and therefore the battery life would be shorter.... Just some food for thought.

What is the frequency on your 217 collar that you would sell James Blevins?
