Blue or Red Heeler Pup

Post by Jamie Rice »

Yeah I know this is a hunting site, but many of us are farm folks and keep cattle dogs. I'm looking for a blue or red heeler pup, moreso a red one.

Jamie, Contact Dan Burdine. He has 18 new pups on the ground. Two different litters. About a week old now. He usually has both Blue and Red ones. His number is 765-366-2997

Heelers are one of the smartest dogs i have owned and or worked on cattle the downside is they need lots of tlc. Great Breed.

I have no use for a border collie. I'm sure they serve their owners a greater purpose, but the subject heading was BLUE OR RED HEELER. :D

Jimmy, you are indeed correct. Heelers are great dogs. Had one when I was a wee lad, but ole boy found out chasing 18 wheelers has ill effects.

Most of the ones I've found here lately already have their tails clipped. I'd prefer one that doesn't. Friend here locally raises them. Going to check with him to see if he has any pups due soon. I may be called a cheap bastard, but hard for me to see giving $300+ for a dog that's going to be nothing more than a pet.

Thanks to those who have responded.
