They go back to Mile Branch Sammy several times on the damns side.(Black Creek)
The sire is out of johnson's Red Lundey (Branko's Kentucky Red Sampson, Big Blue Hunter, Crispy Crunch Swart's Briar Patch Big time)
Hart's TB Cayenne Freckles( Rebel's Last ImageChance old Hatchies's Dreamweaver)

I live on the Gulf Coast. So down here we run cottontail and swamp rabbits. The Black Creeks (dams side) that I know about in their pedigrre have excellent line control, all day every day stamina, really good check work, jumping ability, and an upper medium to fast foot. I have been told that Mile Branch Sammy was one hell of a rabbit dog. I owned Bad Bottom Playboy and I can tell you that he was the best rabbit dog I have ever owned and with out a doubt one of the best I ever saw. Most of all the Black Creeks that I've been around are CONSISTANT!
On the sire's side Hank's Jo Jo Blue was supposed to be a brace dog (slow) but he wasn't. I believe he was a HOF reproducer; I could be wrong. Rebel's Last Chance was a stud dog that Mr. Danny Hart owned. He didn't run him after he was a couple of years old because he didn't want anything to happen to him. He wanted to preserve the bloodline. The Branko dogs are supposed to be hare hounds. You can look just about anywhere and get plenty of information on them. Old Hatchie Bloodline is line control and check work.
I bred the sire's half brother to the dams mother and really like the way the dogs out of that cross run they have grit and determination. Jumping ability, all day stamina, speed with gears, and good check work. They also handle very well.
Some of the people on this board can probably tell you more than I can about how these dogs ancestors hunt especially on the sire's side.

This is Bobbie one of the females out of Calico and Panda.

I see a lot of hounds I would try out myself, but I live right on the coast and it seems like everything is just to far away.
