Indian Hills line bred dogs are the most consistent I've found.

Just start hunting with different dogs and pick your style, theres good and bad in all of them but you'll have to pick what you like. The worst thing to do is ask what kind of dogs the best because everyone has their own opinion. As you see already in this short thread.

You should check out green bay kennel. Sounds exactly what you asking for. A little pricey, but you will get what you pay for. Good luck and let us know what you end up with.

"Medium speed" is all relative to what style dog the person you're asking runs.

Is someone still breeding the Indian Hills bloodline? Who was the original breeder?

I agree with Pilotknob; Indian Hills Blood all the way.
