Directions on how to post a picture

Looking at the contest threads, I can see that some people haven't gotten the hang of posting pictures, so I will try to explain it for all to see.

1. Find a host for your picture (something like http://www.photobucket.com) and upload your picture there and get a link to your picture.

2. Copy your link (highlight it and right click on the link and click on copy)

3. Get over to the thread you want to post your picture on.

4. Post a reply or start a new topic.

5. Up on the top of the window you will notice a bunch of tabs, click on the Img tab.

6. Then make sure that the curser is on the right side of the Image

And viola, you should have your picture. There is no need to click on the URL tab for posting pictures.

Hope this helps, and if not, here's a link to a video that shows you how: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zHOclDT9rY

Emery,
The only thing I hated about photo buckets is you have to lie like crazy when you register to them because they want to call you and send you stuff about collage, ROFL!

Hunt101.com is an excellent server but is down for about another week or so. I got a letter from the owner today. Everything sounds great and can't wait till it is back up! :D
By the way, this explains the fishing pictures, LOL
From Hunt101:

We are moving servers. The process takes 1 day to move 10,000 pictures. There are 245,000 pictures. We started a week ago. Also the new Hunt101.com will have features that no will ever have. Is it worth the wait? When you see the end result... well you will be happy you waited. In short, it took me 1.5 years just to raise the money for the services that will soon be available.

This question comes up from time to time, so i thought I would sticky it to the top for a while. We've had some new members join lately who don't know how to post pics yet.

I am trying to post a picture for my husband and I can go to photobucket and back to here but I can't get the picture to come over to this page. I am right clicking on the link at photobucket but when I get back to here there is nothing to paste to this page. What am I doing wrong? Please help!
