Prayers are needed for the people of Coon Island, Mo

Please keep the people in this small community in your prayers. They have been taking people out in helicopters because of the flood waters. Several levees have broken and it doesnt look like the water is going to stop rising. It doesnt like much being in my mom's house right now. We are blessed to live on a hill so for right now our house is safe. I think our club pres. is going to post some pics on here of the water and the rescues today.
We have been watching huge herds of deer running for higher ground, and dont know where all the rabbits are going. Just hope all of them isnt drowning.
Just keep all of us in your prayers and thoughts. Some of these people are losing everything.

Just an update.....the water is still rising. I just got off the phone with mom and she said the water is now touching the back of her house and under a part of it. I dont know if we have gotten the all the water from up north yet, so keep the prayers going.

Swamp, i sure do hope everyone is OK up that way. So far me and your neighbors to the south here in Ark. have missed the worst. All we've really had to deal with is the inconvenience of some roads being closed and having to go around the long way. If there's anything I can do to lend a hand be sure to feel free to yell. Hopefully the bunnies have found some high ground to wait out the flood. I think the Black River here near Corning crested today, but we had another levee break to the south of us, hopefully nobody has suffered loss of home or family. Our prayers are with you!
