Please remember my wife in your prayers. I just got home from the University of Kentucky Hospital today. This past Tues. I rushed my wife to the hospital in Louisa. She is 23 weeks pregnant. She went in to labor and the flew her to Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington KY, Wedensday morning we stayed there for 2 days and they started her on meds to try and stop the labor. Not much luck there. Friday morning they transfered us to UK hospital because of there great neonatal intensive care unit. We have been presented with some pretty tough choices to make if she delivers but as of Sunday at 3:00 p.m. when I left her she was still keeping our baby inside. I have to go back to work Monday she was still hanging on with all the meds and so forth.
Thanks in advance
Barry

Barry, just wanted to let you know that we will be praying for you and your family. I know exactly what you are going through. My wife was 26 weeks pregnant and was taken to Pikeville Medical Center. From there, they couldn't stop her contractions and she and Maddie (our 4 year old now), was flown to Central Baptist Hospital to see if they could hold her off. Her water broke and they were sent to UK Hospital where Maddie came at 26 weeks. She weighed 1 pound and 11 ounces and was 11 inches long. They have an excellent NICU and a very caring staff. It was a long three months with ups and downs but we all survived, Thank God! This year, Maddie started preschool and is a healthy child and loves beagles. Keep the faith and now that God is in control. With Him, all things are possible. If you ever need to talk, give me a call. 606-353-9843.
