You boys dont care i got a desision too make, my shoulder has been throbbing for a while and finnaly its bad enuff i cant sleep. Went to dr today my rotor cups destoyed. Anyone had one replaced? Kinda worried i will be down awhile.Really cant miss a beat.Any other options? He shot me full of cortizone today.

MVK I never had my rotator cuf replaced. I have had my laburm repaired twice. After each surgery my shoulder felt like new and I felt better. I took a gamble to play college football hints why 2 surgires. I was in a sling for a month each time before I started physical therapy. With that being said every shoulder repair is different it's been over 8 years since my last one and it still feels great with no problems knock on wood. I have found out on the hand that for the last 8 years my wrist has been broken so back under the knife I go this winter. Now are they replacing or repairing the rotator cuf?

Our prayers are with U brother , don't know anything about that type of surgey . But IMO anytime u are put to sleep and cut on it can be tuff . Hopfully U'll get some good med's to help u along ;-)

Dylan has had his rotator cup replaced last year from baseball and he was only down for a month or two

Had my shoulder done 4 yrs now did rotor cup was off work around 90 days but thank god had no trouble with it now before I had it fixed couldn't sleep and once I did sometimes the pain was so great it wake me up than my finger would go num so had enought and got it fixed glade I did

Got a mri scheduled for wed the 15th. Oh well tired of the dull pain.

Good luck with everything, Jimmie. I have been under the knife so many times I look like a cutting block. All have been successful, thank God. I have a couple friends that are so scared to go under the knife that they live with constant pain. How stupid can you get. If hounddog can do it, you can to.
Save any extra's for me.

These shots in the top of my shoulder not only hurt but not working. Its also full of ol arthur and cysts. This getting older sucks a big one.Thanks for the calls and prayers.

Will pray for you. My wife blew out her rotator cuff out in a fall. Took a while, including therapy, to recover. She had a complete recovery. God is no respecter of persons, so may you receive the same results. Bobby
