We had a farm accident and my father is in critical care.
God has kept him with us but he's a terrible mess, your prayers appreciated.

All ribs broke, 13 breaks in face but he's still with us.

We got the surgery done on his face in Indy. moved him down to Louisville for his lungs.
All the drain tubes are out of him now except the trachea, IV's and the feed tube.
Pray to keep the fever down and the infection out. Amazing doctors and nurses, God guides their hand.
Time is all a whirl, mother scheduled for pace maker next month, she is wearing down. Praying for strength.

What a ride this has been! Father is in rehab, we got him off the machines and most all medicines. His testimony is nothing short of a miracle of God.
Thanks to all for your prayers and faith. Yesterday I saw my father laugh for the first time since the accident, Apparently the ride to rehab was comical... once he got back to familiar country, he was trying to tell the driver what roads to take.

Great news and Christmas gift! Hope he continues to progress and gets back home soon!

A year ago today the tractor rolled over my father. We've been home for 6 weeks, therapy and many walker trips to the barn to see the cows has him in good spirits. I stop by every morning after work, get showers, cook lots of bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage gravy, he eats as good as ever with an appetite.
He and mother are happy to be home together again... and the burden of family has brought us all closer together reminded of how fragile life can be.
