Does anyone own one of these guns. I just bought one used with a synthetic stock and stainless barrel.

Just wanting to see what you think of this Muzzleloader seemt to shoot very very good at 110yds . . . . .

What grain would you suggest using deer hunting any help would be nice.

I'd guess you got a .50 caliber. Get the 250 grain sabots with the plastic tips; I've been shooting the Hornandy with 3 of the Triple 7 50-grain pellets behind mine and it kicks like a mule but shoots pretty accurate and flat.

Ok sounds good but this doesnt take pellets So I guess I will go with 110gr

i have the remington 700 ml i shoot pellets in mine i use 2 pellets n a 250 grain bullet i have killed several; deer with mine for a hunting rifle mine shoots pretty good i use to use mine during anterless season heck it shoots as good as any other rifle jb

Yes I can use pellets as well I didnt know that had to go and read the book again lol go figure.

Im going to shoot 245 with 2 pellets this year I have it sighted in pretty good it shoots better than I can aim LOL

How far do you think this should shoot?

you can kill a deer out to 200 yds easy i had a scope on mine n its pretty accurate i use the 209 primers it didnt come with that i changed it out myself

Ok I can now hit a Pie plate at 175 with all 3 shots so I think I should be ready to shoot this this year! Where I have my tree stands at any of my locations I dont have a shot more than 125 so I should be ready LOL . . .

when i was growing or trying too that how we always sighted a gun in hit a paper plate at 100 yds bo wonder i never could kill no deer

OK the Muzzleloader worked for me just fine I got a total of 4 deer so far

I didn't even see 4 deer this last weekend and I was out there over 18 hours

I will take them all out one less in the woods ! ! !
