info on a JC Higgins 410?

info on a JC Higgins 410?

I have a JC Higgins model 101.1 single shot from the Sears Robuck Co. I'm 38 yrs old and I have had is ever since I can remember. I was wondering if anybody knows anything about these guns?

jc higgins is kinda the "sears house brand'. they copied a lot of stuff from savage and stevens and browning to name a few. most all ive owned or seen were very nice and high quality. i think in the "bluebook" you can look up the numbers to cross ref them to see what manufacturer they were based on. i usually buy up one when i see it.
