Beretta U22 Neos with Red Dot Scope. It's nice and light and you don't have to worry about having to drag your gun through the brush becasue it stays under your chaps or coat.

I am loving my new Stoger Condor 410 double. I got the youth version for the shorter barrels and stock. I wish it had two different chokes or choke tubes like the full size guns do. Maybe not the full size 410 but all the others have choke tubes.

i bought an 11-87 youth model in 20 ga. with a synthetic stock. short, light, and with a sling its easy to carry and handle the dogs. synthetic stocks beat the brush back good too. no 5 shot 3 inch magnum is real close to 16 ga performance.

Can't beat an older Ithaca model 37 in 16 guage. (A Franchi 48 in 20 guage would be just fine, too).

Gotta agree with SGC, I've got a 1943 Ithaca Model 37 in 16 and man do I love that shotgun. Seems like they were made so much better back then. The gun is very light and trim as well. Can't beat em!

I use a Stoeger M2000 12ga with a 24in barrel with a carlson's imp cyl choke. Its fairly light, only about 6.5 lbs and is lightening fast because it uses the same inertia system as the Benelli's and Franchi's, but only costs around $500.

I shoot a Rem 870 20 guage in a youth model. & sometimes it won't kick out the spent shell- it will sit in there sideways- so much for that 2nd shot I was going to take. I've cleaned & oiled. Try to pump too fast will do it too. I wanna try something different- maybe a sxs in 20 ga., but then you have more weight. Can't afford an autoloader. Might just try a single shot- I have 2, one is a 20 guage, & the other is a 12. Less moving parts. If I shoot a rabbit, I do. If I don't, I don't.

Rabbitridgerunner, I've got two 16 guage Ithaca model 37's. One was my grandfathers & is a 1939. The other is a 1946. Both are great guns, but I think the action on the 1946 is a tad slicker. I've heard the ones built sometime in the early 40's & then right after the war were the best.
