old ammo what do ya think

Our local sport store is selling 9mm army surplus shells from 1987 for 9.97 a box of 50. Any thoughts on weather or not they would be any good?

If it was stored properly it will be fine.A guy gave me ten boxes of reloaded shotgun shells he did in the sixty's.
It shoots fine.

My thought's on this would be buy a box of 50 and shoot them to see if they all fire.jmo
