Rossi Firearms

Post by Ed Brown »

I'm wondering if anyone has had a pitol from Rossi? On their website it is advertised as a matched pair, two barrels, one a 45/410,this only shoots 2.5 in shells, the other a 22 barrel. I'd guess it would be cheaper than the Contender. Anyone use one of these?

I have one I really like. Took the factory sights off and put shot gun bead on, made a big difference for me. I took it to a gunsmith to have it rimmed out from 2 1/2" to 3" and was told that it was chambered for 3" and in his opinion it was safe to shoot 3". I have been shooting 3" with no ill effect.
