hey guys just wandering what style of dogs are being ran today in lp when i quit a few years ago the dogs was getting a little rough for me on checks and running the line. I am thinking about starting back again in the hunts and was just wandering if they was still this way or are they a little smoother

it seems to be that the dogs that win the most are kinda crazy. and end up jumping a different rabbit when they R in their (very undifined) check area. there are still plenty of good line control dogs that win lp. But U might see most of them going to the new performance pack. I know I will be trying it. I raise the tweener dogs. not crazy but just to loose for pp. But a good dog win win it his way.

It hasn`t changed speed and more speed . It gets pretty ruff at times. I still enjoy it and the other style trials in the area. good luck. Roy

Yes it is still speed and more speed but if you take a nice fast line running check dog you can still win. There are very few that can but they are out there.
good dogs run on good days, great dogs run when u take them out
