Question about going to a trial

Post by BAYOU »

I have a question about going to a AKC small pack option trial for the first time this upcoming weekend. The trial will be held at the Great Miami Beagle club, OH. My question is, can you run a 13" female in the 15" class? Asking because of my work schedule, I can see why you couldn't run a 15" in a 13" class but what about a 13" in a 15" class. I have tried the contact number but no luck, any information would be great. Thanks

If you run her in the 15" class, you can have her premeasured before the trial starts or you can wait to see if she makes the winners pack before measuring her. If she measures 13" or under, she will be disqualified. Just some advice; it would be really difficult for a 13" to run with the 15" class on most days in the Mid-West. I would run her in the 13" class if she is truely 13" and not over. Good Luck.
