I went and printed off the application to register a dog. Now do I have a breed inspector sign the application? Where can I have this done? I live in north central WV.
Thanks
Just take a picture of your dog and send it in with the reg. The NKC. will accept it.

A breed inspector at an ARHA hunt can inspect your dog and sign the paperwork. If your dog is registered with another rgistry, like AKC or UKC for example then you put the registration number along with the registry on the application. Then you don't have to have a breed inspector look at it.
I may be mistaken, but I think all you need to do is send in two photo's of your dog, one of each side, and NKC will accept that. No breed inspector necessary. I'm sure that's what I did about 5 years ago.
I am going to send in two pictures plus the UKC reg. number on the application.
I was looking at their upcoming events and most of the trials in WV are little pack do you guys think that a Good fast UKC dog would make it in this format?

OK now for my next question...LOL. Do you have to possesse the optional entry card to enter a hunt? If you don't have it could you use your registration papers to enter? Just curious
